Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated all for their achievements.
The workshop focused on importance of dress up, dance, confidence, discipline, punctuality, communication skills, runway modeling, body language, posing, camera facing etc. Modeling is one of the most glamorous professions in the world. Personal grooming, hygiene, dressing and the way you conduct yourself in professional setting shows your attitude, professionalism and are key to your success along with studies, said Grey & Anurag.
Varsha said that Keeping the body active has the massive benefit of keeping the mind sharp, and for students, learning to dance can develop their personality in multiple ways. Dance is now much more than just a co-curricular activity to note down in your achievements. Later the tips for various dancing styles including contemporary, hip hop, locking popping, bolywood style etc. were also given.

A workshop on Content Writing Skills held at Aryans
To encourage students for high quality content writing, a virtual workshop on “Content Writing Skills”was organised at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Ms Shailja Kaushal, District Information & Public Relationship Officer, Department of Public Relation & Languages, Govt. of Haryana addressed Aryans students of Law, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, B.Ed, Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the Session.
While interacting Shailja said that Content writing is the process of planning, writing and editing web content, typically for digital marketing purposes. It can include writing blog posts and articles, scripts for videos and podcasts, as well as content for specific platforms, she told.
She further described the roles of content in Video scripts, Email, newsletters, Keynote speeches, Social media posts, Podcast titles, White papers, Web page copy, Landing pages, YouTube video descriptions. The content writer can be a Blog Writer, Brand Journalist, Copywriter, Ghostwriter, Technical Writer & Scriptwriter.
She stressed that this profession requires a specific set of skills including Excellent grammar and style, Ability to write quickly and meet deadlines, Knowledge of various tones and structures, Creativity, Communication, Knowledge of keyword research etc.

Aryans students turn saviours for various species of birds
To create awareness about conserving birds, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh placed bird houses at its 20 acre lush green campus. Around 50 bird’s nests provided by Dr. Pirthipal Singh Trust, Ludhiana were placed on the canopies of the trees inside the campus. Renowned Radiologist & Environmentalist by passion Dr. Baljeet Kaur graced the occasion. In view of covid guidelines, few Aryans students from Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Management participated in this noble cause.
Dr. Anshu Kataria Chairman Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that in the face of rapid urbanization, wildlife is losing its place in the race of survival. We also felt that it’s our responsibility to safeguard the winged friends who are losing their natural habitat due to deforestation & faced a shocking decline in numbers.
Ms. Sneha Bhardwaj, HoD, Department of Agriculture said that Punjab is reeling under an unprecedented heat wave & Water scarcity seems unprecedented as most of the surface water bodies are drying up. “While cattle and pets are fed at least once a day by their owners, wild animals and birds are on their own, which is why we thought we should do something about it, added Sneha.
Ms Anchal Jariyal , Faculty, Aryans College of law said that We are encouraging students, friends and acquaintances to hang bird feeders in front of their house and nearby trees. Feeding the birds & animals has been greatly satisfying, she added.

Tree plantation drive & Poster presentation activities were organized
Considering the manifold benefits of trees and the conducive season, Department of Agriculture, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh organized a tree plantation drive in Aryans Campus. Dr. Baljeet Kaur, Radiologist by Profession & environment lover by passion graced this occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.
Kaur while interacting said that in the blind race of development, we forget the mantra of Indian culture that nature is our mother and it cannot be exploited by excessive use of pesticides. Indian culture has accepted the importance of trees and encouraged it. Plantation of Malabar Neem trees to control pollution would be a game changer as observed in other states, she stressed.
Kataria while speaking on the occasion said that in the face of rapid urbanization, we are exploiting our natural resources. We all should actively participate in tree plantation drives to make Punjab clean, green and pollution free, appealed Kataria. He thanked Dr. Pirthipal Singh Trust, Ludhiana for providing saplings.
On this occasion a poster presentation activity was organized & students from various departments participated enthusiastically. Best poster titles were announced for Ms. Vanshita Mahajan, Ms Jyotika Ms. Jaswinder Kaur from BA. LLB. To mark this day special, staff & students planted Malabar Neem & fruit saplings. AICTE Vice Chairman addresses Kashmiri Youth in Aryans Webinar on Empowering Youth: Empowering Jammu & Kashmir

A webinar was organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh on “Empowering Youth: Empowering Jammu and Kashmir” in which Dr M.P Poonia, Vice Chairman, AICTE was the Chief Guest. On the occasion, Aryans students made video presentations of their various projects including Shikara App, Ramadan App, Solar Boat, E- Munshi App and Life saving gloves. Over 5000 Kashmiri Youth and Youth from other states participated in the webinar.
Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, DC, Srinagar; Mr. Nisar Ahmad Wani (KAS), Director Tourism, Jammu and Kashmir; Er Mehmood Ahmad Khan, Secretary State Board of Technical Education J&K and Mr. G.N. Var, President Pvt. School Association, J&K were the Guest of Honour. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman Aryans Group presided over the webinar.
Dr Poonia while addressing Kashmiri Youth said that AICTE has received around 28,000 applications (14000 from Jammu and 14000 from Kashmir) from all around Kashmir under Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS). While addressing innovations done by Aryans Kashmiri Students, he further added that students must apply for grant of these projects and they can get funding upto 10 Lac. He also asked students to apply for visit Abroad grants in which they can also get upto 10 Lac funding.
While talking on Kashmiri issue he said that Kashmir problem can be solved with “Shaastra” (education) not “Shastar” (weapon). He also said that AICTE will be funding three hostels for the students in Kashmir. He accepted the invitation of Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar and promised to visit Srinagar for launching of Aryans Innovations before 30th October.
Dr. Kataria said that there is a very popular proverb that “If there is a heaven on earth, it’s here, it’s here, it’s here”. Kashmir is heaven on earth and we are happy that Aryans is the only campus in the country in which Kashmiri students are studying in majority. There are a total 3500 students studying in Aryans in which 2000 students are from J&K. More than that, not only in innovations but also in the merit list of IKG-PTU, MRS-PTU, Punjabi University etc. in the last 13 years, these students have brought laurels and pride to the institute.
DC Srinagar added that he had heard a lot about innovations done by Aryans Kashmiri students. He said that Kashmiri students are very intelligent and they have a lot of potential for innovations. The cost of operations for the service sector is too low in J&K because of low cost man power. He quoted the example of call centers that the cost of setting up a call center in Delhi/NCR is around Rs 60,000 while in Kashmir it costs just Rs 20000. He further added that it is a matter of pride for the entire Kashmir Valley that the students are taking care of the people of their valley and innovating social projects for them which can also change the life of these people.
Nisar Ahmad Wani said that because of COVID 19 there is drastic fall in the tourism of Jammu & Kashmir but gradually lockdown is being opened up & soon tourism sector will be boosted in Kashmir. Wani further added that the Solar Boat developed by Aryans Kashmiri Students would always remain a point of attraction for tourists & locals. Wani further said that the directorate of tourism would provide every possible help to Aryans students for their existing & forthcoming innovations.
Secretary, SBOTE, said that the Board is committed to quality technical education in the state. He said that despite Covid 19 Board has conducted and declared the results. He appreciated the reforms done by Dr. M P Poonia, Vice Chairman, AICTE.
Mr. G N Var, while addressing said that majority of students from Kashmir join Aryans after their schooling where their skills get polished & they are motivated towards innovations. Var later thanked Dr. Kataria for fulfilling the promise done by Aryans Group in 2007 where better education for Kashmiri students was committed.

Kataria further added that the requirement of Para medical staff including staff, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technicians, radiographers, male & female health workers etc across the country has increased tremendously. The retaining of the students in the state would add to the economy of the state.
