B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
The Lateral Entry program enables candidates with a 3 years diploma in engineering or an equivalent degree to get admitted directly to 2nd Year (3rd semester) with excellent practical experience in various concepts of current technology. Several engineering diploma holders tend to pursue lateral BTech in a bid to ensure faster promotions and avoid stagnancy in career growth. Students pursuing B.Tech are subjected to exclusive industry projects at different stages in order to give them an option to explore various advanced technology and current industrial practices, thereby molding them to become an eminent engineer.

B.Tech FIRST YEAR
The first year of the B.Tech course is common to all the branches. The engineering is split into its specialized branches from the course of study and curriculum for the succeeding 3 years of this 4 year Undergraduate programme i.e. Mehanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, etc.
The specialized course study starts from the 2nd year. In the first year’s course of study the students are introduced to the basics of each and every branch and given an overview about what they are going to study in the upcoming years. The subjects of Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics and Engineering Chemistry are an integral part of the curriculum for both the semesters of the first year along with other basic technical subjects.
