Innovation is one of the most important concerns of each organization and its role in the development and coordination of the market is inalienable. Innovation in all human areas is applicable from product development, methods of management, ways of doing works and etc.
In all of definition used for innovation, changing or improvement of the process or product are common. Innovation is a process that begins with introduction to plan of an idea and will become a new function and so it different from creation.
The main point is that innovation is different from creativity. In this paper the important of innovation and its crucial role in growth, survival and success of organizations is discussed.
Aryans’ J&K students develop Shikara App
Kashmiri students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh have developed a new app for booking Shikara rides in Dal Lake.
‘Aryans Shikara App’ has been developed by eight students of Aryans College of Engineering namely Riyaz Rasool, Irfan Ahmad Malik, Abid Mushtaq, Aquib, Shakir Ahmad, Asif Ahmad, Mehbooba Bano, Bilal, Mehzabeen and Sabreena, a statement issued by the Aryans said. The App is expected to help both the riders and Shikara owners.
The app was launched on Sunday by Anshu Kataria, chairman of Aryans Group. Wali Mohammad, president of Shikara Association was also present on the occasion.
Ramadhan App launches by JK students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh
The app would help Muslim community for time management during their fasting month Ramadhan
Developed by a group of four JK girls of Computer science branch of Aryans College of Engineering, an android based app of 3.0 version christened as “Ramadhan App developed by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh” would now help to solve the problem of Muslim community during Ramadhan for their fasting. The app featured an automatic alarm which would buzz in the morning at Sehar time to awake them and in evening at the Iftar time to remind them for their meals. The app is available on Google Play Store.
Message of Brotherhood
B. Tech students namely Mehwish Rashid & Bisma Parveen who hail from Srinagar while Pooja Safaya and Mansi Salaria who hail from Jammu have set a true example of Religious Beliefs, universal brotherhood and respect for the religion of each other by developing this app which would help the entire community for time Management.
Innovations-Basis of Aryans Education
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group told press that Aryans has always motivated its students for the innovations and work on live projects which could bring a revolution in them and the society. He said that Kashmiri students possess the instinct to work in this direction and hence they have always been supported for their ideas.
App to help in time management
Mehwish Rashid & Bisma Parveen while interacting with the media said, “As the computer science students we have tried to implement our knowledge to solve the problem of those Muslim people who find tough to match the variations in sehar time in the auspicious month of Ramadan due to various physical or biological factors” Pooja Safaya and Mansi Salaria while speaking said that it was tough to work on such a big project for a large community in a short time period but we were fully guided, motivated and supported financially by the College Management without the help of which this project could be a dream for us. “We have developed this app in 72 hours. Though it’s a small initiative from our side but we aim to add Azaan prayer along with the alarm. In the beginning the app would work according to location of JK but in next few days it will work according to the location of entire Globe” students added.

Infact in our Judiciary system an advocate and his Munshi have to maintain and remember the lot of record of their forthcoming case dates.
To ease the lawyers in maintaining the Court hearing records, students of “Aryans College of Law” with the help of students of “Aryans College of Engineering”, Near Chandigarh have jointly developed a Legal Tech Startup- an Android App which will buzz an alarm and remind the lawyers about the important Court Date and cases.
Christened as “eMunshi- Advocate Diary” this app is available for free download on Google Play Store. The app has been developed by 3 Aryans Law students namely Amanpreet Singh (Nawanshahr), Punjab; Baldeep Kumar (Phillaur), Punjab; Shafait (Rajouri), JK and 3 Aryans Engineering students namely Govind Sharan (Buxar), Bihar; Deepawali & Narinder Kaur (Hoshiarpur), Punjab.
Small Effort by Aryans Law & Engineering students in direction of Tech Legal Startup
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that to develop this app, not only Aryans Law students but also Aryans Engineering students have worked hard in last 3-4 months. In this app the content part has been developed by Aryans Law students while Technical part has been developed by Aryans Engineering students.
“Various other similar apps were also studied to overcome the shortcomings in those apps so that a refined and updated app can be developed”, Kataria added.
Kataria while congratulating the students and staff said that Hope this small effort done by these students would meet the expectations of lawyers and law students.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that apart from Theory and Practical, Aryans always motivate & inspire its students for Innovations. Ms Jasmeen Baidwan, HoD, Aryans College of Law & Ms Simranjot Kaur, HoD, Computer Science Department said that the credit goes to the staff and students for suggesting & developing this app.
Jasmeen while speaking said that apart from keeping the record of court dates, various Bare Acts have also been updated in the app to be used by the legal professionals as ready reference.
About the App:
The App is available on Google Playstore with the download link ashttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aryans.lawyercase. In this app the lawyers can maintain the client summary as well as case details. They can upload the information of various court dates of different courts cases and on due date the alarm would buzz in the morning time to remind them about their important dates.
This is not the first innovation by Aryans students. In the past also they have been doing the innovations.
How to Use this App
This App can be downloaded from Google Play Store. Advocates just need to put details of cases and set time when he want to get notification for that Case and alarm will be buzz accordingly. For any references advocate can study the Bare Acts also. Law students can also use this app for moot court competitions. Students just have to fill detail of moot court proposition and set alarm for notification.
Four Kashmir girl students develop android app for Aryans
Four girls of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh from Jammu and Kashmir have developed an android app that would help the Aryans Group to have Paper-free campus.
Rumaisa, Zeenat, Sadiya and Yusra under the leadership of Manpreet Mann, HOD (Projects), Aryans Group have developed the app, which can be downloaded from Google Playstore and can be installed in an Android phone. The students were provided all required technical support by the group. The four girls announced their achievement during a press conference here on Tuesday.
While providing the details about the app, the students said that the Android Application with the name of ‘Aryans’ will be having two logins. The logins will be intended for students and staff. The outsiders need not to login. They can simply have a view of the details of the College.
Notices intended for the students belonging to the college will be uploaded in Students Login. This has eliminated the need of notice boards in the college. All the official notices for the staff will be uploaded in the Staff Login. The outsiders will be able to see all the necessary information about Aryans Group of Colleges and the updates about the events happening at the college.
The students added that the language of the application is Core Java and the software used in Eclipse. The Application Size is 2.2 MB and the Current Version is 1.0. It requires Android 2.3 and upward versions.
While congratulating the students for their achievement, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, said that the students have done an excellent job. He added that to encourage the students even more, the college has decided to sanction an amount of Rs 1 lakh to the students for any other Joint Project. Dr Kataria also declared to provide the next semester books to the girls who developed this application. While interacting with media, the girls said that they could manage to achieve this only with the support of their management and teachers. They further said that as the majority of students at Aryans are from Jammu and Kashmir, they feel at home at their college campus.
Aryans students launch `Save Kashmir’ Android App for info on J&K floods
Kashmiri students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, have developed a unique Android App which gives all info of JK flood at one platform. Christened as “Save Kashmir” the App was today launched by Madan Mohan Mittal, Technical Education Minister, Punjab. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group was also present on the occasion.
Developed by 5 Kashmiri students of Aryans College of Engineering, the App contains each and every information about JK floods including the list of people lost, list of deaths, donation links, Government help lines, affected people and areas, location of relief camps. The App is available for download at Google play store.
While launching, Madan Mohan Mittal said that after floods there was a need for such common platform. This App is not only an innovation but also a wonderful project for social cause, he added.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, informed that students and the faculty worked for 15 days in developing the “Save Kashmir”, which is an open source App i.e., it is easily accessible to everyone. The language of the application is Core Java and the software used in Eclipse. The Application size is 2.93 MB and the Current Version is 1.0.2, it requires minimum Android 2.3, he added.
Aryans Engineering students Mudasir, Adil, Tahira, Aashu and Rumaisa who have developed the App, said that “during the flood, on one hand there was disaster going on and on the other hand the rest of the world was extending hand to help the affected people, but there was no common platform for information provider and seeker. We also were unable to contact our parents for the few days and then, we had an idea to develop the App, then we all joined hands to develop this project”. They were also thankful to their management that immediately provided them entire funding for the project along with technology support.
