Republic day celebrated at Aryans with great enthusiasm

The 74th Republic Day was celebrated at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh with great enthusiasm and fervor. Dr. JK Saini, Director, Aryans College of Engineering led the flag hoisting ceremony with full honour and respect at Aryans Campus.
After hoisting the national flag, Dr. Saini in his address congratulated students & staff and highlighted the enactment of the constitution of India. The National Anthem was also sung while the National Flag was being hoisted.
All students, teaching & non-teaching staff members participated in the flag-hoisting ceremony with enthusiasm. Various online competitions including Dance, Speech, Poster, Poetry were also organised & various students of all age groups participated from all across the Country.

Dr. JK Saini, Director, Aryans Group said that thousands of fresher candidates from the tricity & other peripheral areas have already stepped into the Job Market this Year after their graduation & post graduation. In this fest, job opportunities would be available for B.Tech, MBA, Nursing, Pharmacy, Agriculture, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, M.Tech, Diploma, ITI etc.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans has achieved several milestones in the field of placements. Till now Aryans has successfully conducted 54 Job Fests at its campus in which over 1000 companies and over 25,000 candidates have participated.

With the aim to educate students to prevent & cure sports injury, Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organised a seminar on “Love Your Bones, Protect Your Future.” Dr. Amandeep Garg, Ex Senior Resident, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sec -32, Chandigarh, Consultant Orthopaedics, Simrita Hospital, Rajpura was the keynote speaker & addressed Aryans B.Sc. Nursing, GNM & ANM students. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over.
Dr. Garg while addressing said that According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), nearly 30 million youth participate in some form of organized sport. Of these, about 2.6 million sustain serious injuries each year, with over 1.35 million visits to the emergency room.
He further added that preventing sports injury isn’t always possible, but more often than not, common sports injuries are caused by a lack of proper safety gear, overtraining, or incorrect form. By following safety guidelines, we can reduce injuries, stressed Garg.
Later he discussed the importance of various factors including warm up, sports specific movements, stretching, progress, cardiovascular activity, rest etc.l. Mrs. Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing later highlighted the importance of hydration & proper healthy diet for a sports person.
PTU Youth Fest concludes at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura
BBSBEC, Fatehgarh Sahib declared overall winner while SVIET, Banur stood 1st Runner Up

The Youth fest of IKG-PTU, Jalandhar concluded at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. BBSBEC, Fatehgarh won overall winner trophy & declared overall winner while SVIET, Banur stood 1st Runner Up overall during prize distribution in Closing Ceremony. Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura students won in the spot Photography & Poem Recitation. Thousands of students of around 10 Colleges from various districts of west Zone of IKG-PTU, Jalandhar participated in various cultural activities of Youth Festival
The fest was inaugurated by Finance Minister Punjab, S. Harpal Singh Cheema while Neena Mittal, MLA Rajpura was the Guest of Honour. On the second day MLA, Ghanaur, Sh. Gurlal Singh was the chief guest interacted with all the Students. Adv Vikram Passi, Mr. Lovish Mittal, S. Rupinder Singh, President Anaaj Mandi, Rajpura were the Special Guest. Sh. Sumeer Sharma, Assistant Director, Youth Affairs, IKG-PTU was present on Occasion Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman; Aryans Group presided over the function.
Renowned Punjabi Singers Sangram Hanjra, Jashan, Gursewak Likhari, Param & Kashmiri Artist Popping Sam also enthralled the audience during various days in youth fest Youth fest.
Overall Results of youth fest were as follows, In Music, Dance, Theatre, Bhangra, Group Shabad, Classical Music, Fine Arts, Literary, Elocution, Poster Making, Debate, Quiz, Mehandi, Collage Making, Cartooning, Western Group Song , Light Vocal Indian etc. Baba Banda Singh College stood First. In Essay writing, Poem Reciation on the spot painting; Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering & Technology, Banur stood first & 2nd in Debate, Mehandi etc. ISF College Moga got 3rd position in Mehandi & short story writing while Gurdasi Devi Institute of Technology, Budhlada secure 3rd position in Gidha & on the spot photography.
Aryans delegation meets Ex MHRD Minister Prakash Javadekar
Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh; President, Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) & President, Federation of Self Financing Institutions (FSFTI), All India, Dr. Anshu Kataria today met with Sh. Prakash Javadekar, Former Minister, Human Resource Development in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, today.
Both had a discussion at length regarding the New Education Policy (NEP). Dr. Kataria appreciated & said that Javadekar has led the strong foundation of NEP in our country. Kataria also thanked Javadekar for his special initiative to bring the policy of transparency in the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & also taking up the issue of faculty: students ratio from 1:15 to 1:20 on the demand of FSFTI, All India.
Javadekar also mentioned that during his tenure, the online approval system was also strengthened with AICTE. Later he discussed that NEP will surely change the education map across the country.
It is to be mentioned that Javadekar has taken vast initiatives in the various fields including digital format of degrees, Sarthi Programs, 32 new educational channels, better opportunities for differently abled students; recruitment at IIM & IIT;anti ragging campaigns, plans for 10 lakhs unemployed youth; common entrance examination for all central universities etc.

Law students of Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh, brought laurels to the college in the examinations conducted by Punjabi University, Patiala.
In BA-LL.B, 4th semester examination, Mr. David bagged 1st position with 90%, Mr. Shashi & Mr. Anish bagged 2nd position with 88% respectively and four students namely Sunil, Tanya, Jyoti bagged 3rd position with 86% marks.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated the students and faculty for the hard work. He said that Aryans students are doing well not only in academics but in sports, innovations, cultural also.Such excellent results by the students add more name and fame to the College, added Kataria.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans is the only Law College in the region to be associated with Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). For the first time, Pearson VUE on behalf of Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has made Aryans College of Law the Exam Centre for Law School Admission Test (LSAT). The score of the test is being used by famous law schools of America & Canada i.e Harward, Yale, Stanford University, British Columbia, Chicago etc.

The Blood Donation and Health Check Camp would be organized with the support PGIMER (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research), Chandigarh at Aryans Institute of Nursing & Aryans College of Pharmacy, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh on 28th Jan, 2023.
The PGI team including Doctors, Nurses and Technicians will conduct a thorough medical checkup of voluntary & eligible donors to donate blood. Medical guidance & prescription will be given to the students, parents, faculty members & local residents of nearby villages. The donors will also be given certificates and donor cards along with refreshments.
Dr. AnshuKataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while motivating the students said that Aryans Group is organizing blood donation & free health camp since last 15 years under its Corporate Social Responsibility. Kataria said that person can save 3 lives from 1 unit blood and these camps not only provide blood to the blood banks but also are a great boon to the thalassemia and leukemia patients who need blood infusions frequently.
Mrs. Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing said that such camps will kindle a spirit of social service in the students and community. While the free health checkup camp would help the local people to get their free checkup done and knowledge about their personal hygiene, care, medication etc.

Lokpal Punjab, Additional Solicitor General, Govt of India graced the event in Punjab Kala Bhawan
To pay a musical tribute on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratan Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sargam Society of Indian Music & Art (Regd.) & Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a Musical evening on 22nd Dec in Punjab Kala Bhawan. Three singers recite the poems & dole out famous songs in the memory of Atal Ji. The event commenced with lamp lighting ceremony & mementos were presented to singers during felicitation ceremony.
The event was graced by Justice (Retd.) Sh. Vinod Kumar Sharma, Lokpal Punjab as Chief Guest while the Guests of Honour were Adv. Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General, Govt. Of India; Mrs. Shashi Prabha, IPS, ADGP, Punjab & Sh. Sk Panigrahi, Field General Manager, Punjab National Bank. Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, Sargam Society & Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh presided over the event.
Justice (Retd.) Sh. Vinod Kumar Sharma, Lokpal Punjab appreciated the efforts of Sargam Society in organizing this musical evening. He paid floral tribute to Atal ji. He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee,’ the name and the man carries so many sentiments for the 21st century Indians. An outstanding orator also remembered for his poems, he added.
Adv. Satya Pal Jain congratulated entire team of Sargam Society & while paying tribute to Atal Ji said that a he is known as ‘Bhishma-Pitamah’ of Indian politics. We are inspired by his rich service to the nation. He devoted his life towards making India strong and developed, Jain said.
Mrs. Shashi Prabha, IPS, ADGP, Punjab while addressing the audience highlighted about that Atal ji was one of the tallest Indian leaders, He was an eminent parliamentarian, able administrator, prolific writer, mesmerizing orator and above all, a great human being. Later, Sh. Sk Panigrahi while remembering Atal ji in his address mentioned that he was a ‘visionary’ leader who took the country to unprecedented heights of development.
Dr. Anshu Kataria while thanking everyone said that we all including the Sargam society team as well as Aryans Team remembering Atal Ji on his Jayanti. We are inspired by his rich service to the nation. He had impacted the lives of millions of Indians. He said that every year we organize such events for music & arts lover. Later, he thanked all dignitaries to grace the occasion.
Sh. R D Kailey, Chairman, Sargam Society recited many poems & highlighted many famous quotes of Atal Ji. He also sang many songs & made the evening spell bound. Later, Sh. Sushil Nagpal, Vice President, Society & Mrs. Manisha Sharma with their singing reverberated the hall and regaled the audience.
On the occasion, Sh. Kaveesh Kailey, General Secretary; Sh. MohinderPal Gupta , Program Advisor, Sargam Society & other office bearers were present beside many dignitaries amongst the audience.
