Governor, Himachal Pradesh to visit Aryans on 5th March
Sh. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor, Himachal Pradesh will visit Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh on March 5th. To felicitate the meritorious students on their accomplishments, Governor, Himachal Pradesh will be the Chief Guest during the convocation ceremony while Dr. Buta Singh, Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda & Dr. M P Poonia, Vice Chairman, All India Council of technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi would be the Guest of Honor. The Special Guest for the occasion would be Sh. Rakesh Agarwal, Inspector general of Police, Punjab. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group will preside over the ceremony.
The students from various programs including MBA, BBA, BCA, B. Tech, BA. LLB, B.Sc Agriculture, Education etc who have passed out in 2019, 2020 & 2021 will be awarded degrees. Eligible students can register through College website www.aryans.edu.in .

Mechanical Expert from NITTTR, Chandigarh addresses Aryans Engineering students
A session on Automation in Manufacturing held at Department of Mechanical, Aryans College of Engineering. Dr. B. S. Pabla, Professor, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh addressed all the Polytechnic & Diploma students of Mechanical & faculty members. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the session.
Dr. Pabla while highlighting scope of Mechanical engineering said that this field is at the forefront of developing new technologies for a number of industries including transport, healthcare, construction, and robotics. The future job prospect for mechanical engineers is expected to grow by nearly 10 percent in the next decade till 2030, added Pabla.

Aryans Chandigarh delegation meets HP Governor
A delegation from Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today met with Sh. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor, Himachal Pradesh.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while greeting the Governor said that tricity has become the most preferred destination among students to pursue higher education. Most of the students are not able to afford the high fee structure of professional courses in big educational institutions. But Aryans has emerged as the first choice for needy & deserving students of Himachal Pradesh as various scholarship programs are being offered, added Kataria.
HP Governor attentively listened to all the students welfare schemes being offered at Aryans Group of Colleges & he also assured his visit to Aryans. On the occasion, Dr. Kataria presented plants to the Governor, Himachal Pradesh.

Various Civil Engineering experts addressed participants in Aryans- AICTE-MRSPTU refresher Program
A virtual refresher program sponsored by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) & Maharaja Ranjeet Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda on “Development in Construction Engineering” organized by Department of Civil, Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh concluded. The concluding session was graced by Dr. Harish Kumar Garg, Deputy Controller, Examination Branch, MRSPTU, Bathinda. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the program. Hundreds of faculty from various engineering colleges across nation attended this 6 days long program.
While addressing all faculty members Mechanical Expert, Dr. Garg highlighted that with close to 1.5 million engineers graduating in India every year, the country needs approximately 4 million civil engineers on an average, over the next decade, to deliver potential real estate space and planned infrastructure. Considered as the fastest growing industry, the construction is poised to become the largest employer in future, said Garg.

Health Department, Punjab organizes Free Covid Testing camp at Aryans
In the wake of steep rise in Corona cases, a special free Covid 19 testing camp was conducted to spread awareness on the measures to prevent the spread of pandemic at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. This day long camp to conduct RT- PCR (Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction) was organised in association with Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Punjab.
The staff, faculty members, workers and residents from nearby villages including Alampur, Nepra, Thuha etc. gave their samples for the testing. More than 80 samples were collected in this camp. The camp was led by Dr. Pawandeep Kaur Assistant Medical Officer,. Community Health Centre, Kalomajra along with Mr. Hitesh Kumar; Mr Bharambath Singh, Pharmacy Officer & Mr. Jasbir Singh, Helper, Kalomajra.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that We organised this camp due to the recent uptick in the number of COVID -19 positive cases. The testing could help in establishing the status of COVID situation in the campus. The staff and community members to strictly follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour to stave off the transmission of infection, appealed Kataria.
Dr. Pawandeep Kaur said that we received a good response from both the staff and locals and got more than 80 samples today. College management has been able to successfully organize the testing camp. She appreciated the efforts of college for organising the camp.

After Completion, the valedictory program was graced by Dr. Indu Pal Kaur, Chairperson, University institute of pharmaceutical sciences (UIPS), Panjab University Chandigarh as Chief Guest & Dr. Balwinder Singh, Director, College Development Council (CDC), MRSPTU as Guest of honour. It is to be mentioned that hundreds of faculty from various pharmacy colleges across nation registered as participants & core research domains, including pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical biotechnology, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and pharmaceutics, Nanotechnology etc. During the closing ceremony the participants were honored with the certificates.
