
Nursing Students of Aryans shines in Academic results
In the ANM examinations conducted by Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC), Sahibjaan (Punjab), Student of Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh bagged 1st position by scoring 918 Marks, Shailza (Himachal) bagged, 2nd position by scoring 910 marks while Kulwinder Kaur (Punjab), bagged 3rd position by scoring 897 marks out of 1400 in College Academic results.
Dr. Rajinderjit Kaur Bajwa, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing congratulated the students and faculty for the continuous efforts and hard work done. Dr. Bajwa said that apart from regular academics, extracurricular activities like workshops, seminars, community and clinical postings on nursing are also being organized time to time to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans Institute of Nursing is running GNM (3 Years) and ANM (2 Years Course) approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Affiliated to Punjab Nurses Registration Council PNRC, Mohali and B. Sc. Nursing, affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The course focuses on the study of health care of various individuals. Students are also trained on how to take care of equipment, setting up of Operation Theater, provide medication timely to patient and maintenance of records etc.
Admissions at Aryans Institute of Nursing in B.Sc. Nursing, GNM and ANM course have already been started for 2021-2022 session. In nursing, Aryans have 60 seats in B. Sc. BFUHS, Faridkot permits Aryans to start Paramedical Courses
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has granted approval to Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh to start various Paramedical Certificate Courses for 20 seats each including Home Based Care Helper, Emergency cum Ambulance Attendant, Hospital and Home based Care Attendant & Operation Theatre Attendant.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that paramedical science has emerged as important branch of medical science. Today, doctors, nurses & Health Care workers are on the front lines of the COVID-19 response. Forced to cope up with limited personnel, hospitals nationwide are struggling to provide adequate care for corona virus patients.
He further added that this crisis has served to highlight how vital healthcare workers are? Keeping in view, new paramedical courses have been started in Aryans as the demand for healthcare professionals will not disappear in post Covid-19 scenario but is projected to increase in the coming years in both Government as well as Private sectors, added kataria.

Path Shri Sukhmani Sahib held at Aryans on its 15th Foundation Day
15th Batch admissions announced on the occasion.
To invoke the blessings from the Almighty for students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh Path Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji was held for Aryans students & faculty members to pay obeisance to the Shri Guru Granth Sahib. After bhog, admissions for 15th batch were announced for various courses including Engineering, Polytechnic, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Management, B. Ed Etc.
The Path was followed by langar. ‘Kadha prasad’ was also distributed among students. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while addressing advised students to follow the principles of the Gurbani in their lives and cultivate the values of humanity.

Renowned Environmentalist & North India Beauty Queen interacts with Aryans Students on World Environment Day
On this occasion Nature’s Photography Contest was organized
To create awareness of the Environment and Nature, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a webinar on World Environment Day, under the theme “Ecosystem Restoration”. Dr. Ranjana Sharma Garg, Mrs. North India Queen 2019 & an Environmentalist interacted with the students of Engineering, Law, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, B.Ed, Agriculture etc of Aryans. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the webinar.
Dr. Ranjana while interacting with students said that this day is celebrated on June 5 every year to remind people about the importance of nature. All kinds of ecosystem can be restored, including forests, farmlands, cities, wetlands and oceans. Restoration initiatives can be launched by almost anyone, discussed Ranjana.
She further said that the emergence of COVID-19 has also shown just how disastrous the consequences of ecosystem loss can be. By shrinking the area of natural habitat for animals, we have created ideal conditions for pathogens including corona viruses to spread but amid the corona virus-induced lockdown, nature is getting time to clean itself and reclaim its space, she explained.
On this occasion, a photography contest was also organized & students from all departments participated enthusiastically. The winners of the contest including Shahid Anwar, B. Pharma; Wasim Abid & Suliman Saith, MBA; Ekta Shukla, B. Pharma & Dilawar Ahmad Lone from MBA were announced.

Webinar on IELTS organised at Aryans
Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a webinar on International English Language Test (IELTS), Gateway to International Education. Ms Nidhi Malik, IELTS Trainer interacted with the Aryans students of Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Management, B.Ed and Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.
Nidhi while interacting with students that English is the third most spoken language in the world, with 379 million speakers worldwide. IELTS is designed to help you work, study or migrate to a country where English is the native language. This includes countries such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA. Your ability to listen, read, write and speak in English will be assessed during the test. IELTS is graded on a scale of 1-9, she said.
Nidhi said that the higher you can score in your IELTS, reflects a better understanding and ability to communicate in English. Each immigration body, university, workplace or institution will have specific IELTS score requirements. The score you need will depend on what you are looking to do in the country, i.e work or study. IELTS is developed to provide a fair and accurate assessment of English language proficiency, she added

World No Tobacco Day celebrated at Aryans

With the aims to spread awareness about the dangers of tobacco and its negative impact on health, World No Tobacco Day was celebrated at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh under this year’s theme “Commit to quit”. Dr. Jyoti Kapil, Student Mentor, Head, Life sciences, Kanoria Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur interacted with the Aryans students of Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Management, B.Ed and Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.
Dr. Jyoti while interacting with students said that Tobacco causes 8 million deaths every year. Evidence released this year shows that smokers were more likely to develop severe disease with COVID-19 compared to non-smokers. Cigarettes contain about 600 ingredients which after burning generate more than 7,000 chemicals and at least 69 of them are linked to cancer, added jyoti.
She further said that Tobacco is the leading cause of respiratory disorders like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, tuberculosis, cancers, leukemia, cataracts, and pneumonia. In 2008, the WHO banned any kind of advertisement or promotion of tobacco. As the world’s most populated country, China is the leader in the cigarette industry. She said.
On this occasion, an online speech competition was also organized. Students from various departments participated with great enthusiasm. Ekta Shukla from Pharma, Raveena Kaundal from B. Sc. Nursing & Shahid Anwar from Pharma stood first, Second & third in the competition.
