World day for Social Justice
Life stories of national icons depicted at aryans campus.
As to bring the significance of world day for social justice into the limelight, aryans college of law, rajpura, near chandigarh organized a series of activities like illustration of life stories of national icons, film fest, extempore, etc. Aryans llb & ba llb students attended and depicted various social issues and acts as per this year’s theme: ’empowering inclusion: bridging gaps of social justice.’.
Aryans College of Law, considered by and large as the Best law college of Punjab and Chandigarh, was one that started spreading awareness and consciousness among its students by undertaking such exciting activities.
Dr. Anurag Dhiman Principal, Aryans In his interaction with the students expressed that this day is celebrated annually on 20th February & acknowledges the importance of spreading social justice which is an equal opportunity, distribution of wealth, facilities of healthcare etc. in a society. Dr Pritika, Dr Fatima, Jaswant, Saloni Faculty were present.
The law students such as Dhara, Avonpreet, Deepanshu, Jashan, Ujjwal, Yachna, Nishu, Vanshika enacted & depicted the life histories of Indira Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, APJ Abdul Kalam, C. V Raman, B.R. Ambedkar, Savitribai Phule, Lady Justice, Anna Sorabji etc and motivated everyone. Aryans College of Law also conducted a law film fest where different movies such as ‘Pink’, ‘Rustam’, ‘Section 375’, ‘Chhapaak’, ‘Article 375’, ‘Jai Bhim’ etc were used as case studies.
