An MSME and Academic delegation being hosted by Indian Investors Federation and Punjab Unaided Colleges Association visits the Parliament House and Senate House of Canada during their business visits. An 8 day Business delegation travels to Montreal, Ottawa, Brampton and Toronto and meets various bureaucrats, investment agencies, Industry chambers, Indo-Canada associations, Canada-India Business community, investment advisors etc and explored various potential opportunities working together and exchange of business and investments.
While giving more information Dr. Anshu Kataria, President , PUCA & Chairman,Aryans Group of Colleges ,Rajpura , near Chandigarh and Krishana Murthy Sagaram,Indian Investors Federation said that the delegation has landed in Montreal and started their meetings with India Canada Organization where good amount of business community from the Montreal region has welcomed the delegation and discussed at length. Mr.Sameer Zuberi, Member Parliament and Mr.Dimitrios Jim Beis, Mayor of Pierrefonds-Roxboro have joined the meetings along with the leaders and members of Indo Canada Organization. The delegation has felicitated all of them during this period and conveyed their appreciations for the extended support.
Further the delegation got an opportunity to visit to meet and discuss with Mr.Chandra Arya, Member Parliament in Ottawa and had an insight discussion on industry wise and opportunities. Mr.Chandra Arya has expressed his wishes and understood every delegate’s plans and advised the best suitable opportunity and assured his conveyed his extended support in this matter. A special Canada Parliamentary tour has been arranged to the delegation along with the Senate House visit. The delegates have enjoyed the visit and understood the policy making process in the country. Invest Ottawa had a great interactive session with the team members and advised on the opportunities, support and services being provided by them in establishing a new business establishment in the country.
The City of Brampton Economic Development officials have extended their warm welcome to the delegation and discussed in depth about the city policies and opportunities available. The also discussed on various sectors that the City is working on and the rate of development which is in support of the industry leaders and explained the right approach of establishing the business in the City of Brampton. The campus tour conducted by Sheridan College was an eye opener on the education systems and techniques being followed by the Canadian colleges. The group has visited their trade courses labs, nursing school, athletic therapy and exercise centres, empathy based axon VR simulation etc and discussed the opportunities of collaboration with Indian institutions as well as industry. A short term skill development program in the demanding areas have proposed during the discussion and further notes taken forward
As the last business meeting, Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce proposed to sign an understanding with Indian Investor Federation to increase 2 way investments and business between Canada and India. Both the organizations soon to announce their mutual programs both in Canada and India. Members of ICCC were engaged themselves in a great interaction with the delegation and exchanged various ideas of doing business. While closing all the business meetings, the delegation has visited the great Niagara Falls and expressed their willingness of doing business with Canada and to progress towards their plans of establishments in a very short period of time.

With the aim to teach students the theoretical and practical knowledge & for competent working around stoma, Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh orgainse a workshop at Aryans Campus. The Chief guest of the session was Prof. Bhupinder kaur, Former Principal, University, college of nursing, BFUHS, Faridkot, Punjab while the Keynote speakers were Mr. Jagdeep Singh, Enterostomal Therapist, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur & Ms. Manjinder Kaur Enterostomal Therapist, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur.
Prof. Bhupinder Kaur while interacting said that Stoma care is a fundamental area of nursing practice that all registered nurses should have the competence to undertake. Due to the increasing demand for good, effective stoma care, there are many courses and conferences focused on improving patient care and enhancing professional knowledge and skills, added kaur.
Later a demonstrate & lecture was given by Mr. Jagdeep & Ms. Manjinder. They also highlighted that many of the core nursing skills in stoma care are carried out by healthcare assistants and carers, and the increasing demand for education in this area should be targeted not only at nurses, but also healthcare assistants and carers. Mrs. Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing also gave a presentation.
Rabta & Aryans Group organise “Anjuman: Poetic Evening”

To promote diverse Indian art and culture & young poets, Rabta in association with Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh & Aryans Overseas, Chandigarh organized an evening of poetic expression “Anjuman Nayi Awazon Ki” today Govt. Museum & Art Gallary, Sec-10, Chandigarh. The event commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony & mementos were presented to poets during felicitation ceremony.
The event was graced by Renowned Artist Jaswant Singh Rathore as Chief Guest while Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group was Guest of Honour. On the occasion budding young poets as well as senior poets from Chandigarh and nearby areas will enthralled the audience with their poetry. More than 200 poetry and art lovers from Chandigarh and various cities of Punjab and Haryana attended the program. Audience was represented by senior personalities of the region.
Dr. Kataria appreciated all poets & mentioned that Tricity & Punjab always have been hub of literature and literature lovers, in the generation of short content youth still loves to vibe on words and literature. She later congratulated team Rabta for this effort.
Founder members of RABTA Mrs. Sonia Rai, Dr Naveen Gupta, Mr Sahil Azrul Haqe said their team will be periodically holding such poetry programs and other literally events. ‘Rabta’ has been formed to promote literature & diverse Indian culture in Chandigarh and surrounding areas, mentioned, Team Rabta.
On the occasion various poets including Varun Anand, Mahendra Sahni (Sadar), Gautam Sharma, Anjali Banga, Ayush Aavartt, Nand Kishore (Anhad), Rishabh Sharma, Shamsher Sahil, Mayank Nari won the hearts of the audience by reciting their poetry.

Hon’ble Governor of Haryana Sri Bandaru Dattatreya today flagged off a 14 members delegation of Indian Investors Federation & Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) to Canada. The delegation is going under the leadership of Mr. Krishna Murthy Sagaram of IIF and Dr. Anshu Kataria of Aryans Group of Colleges.
The Hon’ble Governor Sri Dattatreya said that these visits are very much necessary to develop strong socio-economic ties between the countries and Canada, always being one of the best choices for the Indian community and the importance is duly recognized. There are lots of good exchanges happening between these two in education, real estate, green energy and IT sectors. He has identified every delegate and his field and plans of doing business there. He appreciated the efforts being put by the IIF and PUCA and wished the entire team for the great outcome of the delegation.
The objective of the delegation is to explore the possibilities of strategic tie-ups between Indian and Canadian MSME sector bi-lateral agreements in the fields of Information Technology, education, Real estate, Agriculture, Fashion Merchandising, packaging, import & exports, water and waste management & furniture industries. A group of 14 members from various organizations across the country would be participating in this delegation.
As per the schedule, the delegation would be first landing in Montreal and then continuing their meetings at Montreal, Cornwall and Ottawa. They are scheduled to meet various Indo Canada Organizations, community leaders and Member parliaments etc. They would be visiting the Parliament House of Canada. Further they proceed towards Brampton and meet the officials at GTA. Various Indo-Canada organizations and chambers have extended their invitations to the delegation. An 8day delegation visit to these places is expected to bring various bi-lateral business opportunities, investments both the sides and partnership agreements in those sectors.
The Director General of IIF Dalip Sharma has expressed that IIF has been working with various government and non-government agencies in bringing a strong colorations and exchange of investments between the countries for a progressive sign. India has now been considered as a global hub and may invite various investors and also provide the opportunity to MSME of the country to work with International organizations for the exchange of thoughts and progress. IIF mainly focuses on the MSME sector which needs strong support and innovative platforms for their contribution to the economy.
Mr. Anshu Kataria, President of Punjab Unaided Colleges Association express that in their previous delegations also the members of the PUCA have been benefited through mutual agreements and understandings with Canadian Institutions. Now visiting Ontario and Montreal would be an added flavor to the management of the colleges to bring new technology, partnerships and career opportunities for the students of these states. The learnings with the Canadian leading institutions are always a great help to the Indian institutions.
Punjab and Haryana now being one of the fast growing business hubs the organizers have expressed their confidence in the positive results through this delegation. The delegation is also being supported by various Canadian and Indian chambers and organizations. This is the 4th delegation to Canada by IIF and PUCA and September scheduled the 5th delegation towards Atlantic Canada. Previous delegations to Canada have resulted in a good amount of MoUs with the concerned organizations in those sectors.

Governor Haryana Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya awarded Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh with the Achiever Awards 2023 for excellence in education.
In an event ceremony during annual ‘Entrepreneur and Achiever Awards 2023’ organized by Media Federation of India (MFI) and Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) held in Chandigarh , Governor, Haryana felicitate the award winners during the award ceremony.
On the occasion, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Minister for Local Government, Punjab; S. Laljeet Singh Bhullar, Minister for Transport, Punjab; Ms Anmol Gagan Mann, Minister for Investment Promotion & Tourism, Punjab were Guests of Honour. The awards were given for the outstanding contributions in the field of social services, corporate medicine, civil services, education, sports, journalism and work and other sectors.

12th May is celebrated as Nurses Day across the Globe

Aryans Institute of Nursing (AIN), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh celebrated International Nurses Day under the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future” at Aryans Campus. B. Sc. Nursing, GNM and ANM students participated in the various activities organized on the occasion.
The function commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony. Students organized oath ceremony, Rangoli Competition, Poster making Competition, Cultural & sports activities etc on the occasion to mark the celebration and exhibit their responsibilities towards society.
Mrs Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing gave information that the students also took the oath to uphold the values of their Nursing profession. Students while taking oath pledged to serve the society with their profession during their studies as well as after the completion of their course.
It is to be mentioned that International Nurses day is celebrated every year on 12th May to mark the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is widely considered the founder of modern nursing. The function was celebrated a day before to mark the importance.
Aryans organized Scholarship Mela in Shri Muktsar Sahib
To promote higher education among girls & to continue their higher studies, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today gave scholarship to 11 girls. Deputy Education Officer, Sri Muktsar Sahib Sh. Kapil Sharma; Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group; Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; State Awardee, Chanchal Kataria; Rajneet Girdhar were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, students of Sri Muktsar Sahib region including Khushpreet Kaur (BCA), Malika Kaur (BA-LLB), Karni Kaur (BA-LLB), Manveer Kaur (BA-LLB), LLB) and Gursharan Kaur (BA-LLB) were also felicitated who have taken admission in Aryans last year on Scholarship basis.
Financial help was also given to those needy & deserving girls who do not have father or mother and want to pursue higher education. The girls including Anjali, Pooja Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Noor Kaur, Priyanka, Trisha, Khushpreet Kaur, Jashndeep Kaur, Ramandeep Kaur, Pawandeep Kaur and Jashanpreet Kaur who are studying in Government School in Sri Muktsar Sahib were felicitated.
Sargam Society & Aryans Group to organise Shiv Batalvi Night on 6th May
To pay a tribute to Shiv Kumar Batalvi on his 50th Death Anniversary, Sargam Society of Indian Music & Arts (Regd), Mohali & Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh are going to organize a Musical Program from on 6th May, 2023, Saturday to be held in Randhawa Auditorium, Sec 16, Chandigarh from 06:00 PM onwards. In this event, RD Kailey, a trained singer & his team of Singers will pay the musical tribute to legendary Batalvi ji, said President of the Society & Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria.
The event would be graced by S. Gulzar Sandhu, a close associate of Shiv Kumar Batalvi as Chief Guest while Rita Juneja, DGM, Head, PNB, Mohali; Deepak Manmohan, Former Director, World Punjabi Centre; MP Gupta, Music Connoisseur would be Guests of Honour. Sh. Ashwani Garg, Chairman, SVIET, Banur would preside over.
Kailey mentioned that each year on his birth and death anniversary, we organise a musical performance, but this year we wanted to try something unique & decided to pay a 50-song tribute as a mark of respect and love for his poetry. He will be uploading one song every day for the next 50 days on my YouTube channel. He has already started uploading daily a song & has uploaded 19 songs so far.
It is to be mentioned that Shiv Kumar Batalvi was an Indian poet, writer and playwright of the Punjabi language. He was also known as Keats of Punjab & most known for his romantic poetry, noted for its heightened passion, pathos, separation and lover’s agony, due to that he was also called Virha Da Sultan.

To emphasise the prevention, protection and availability of effective treatment care to all the persons affected with haemophilia, Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh in association with Paras Hospital, Panchkula celebratedWorld Haemophilia day. Dr. Chitresh Agarwal, Senior Consultant Medical Oncology & Hematology Oncology, Paras Hospital, Panchkula interacted with the students of B. Sc. Nursing, GNM, ANM, B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the seminar.
Chitresh while interacting said that Hemophilia affects approximately 400,000 people worldwide, many of whom are not fully aware of their condition or are not getting the treatment they need. Because a relatively small percentage of the world’s population suffers from hemophilia, many people are not aware just how serious this condition is and how much more difficult and dangerous it makes the lives of those who have it.
He said that it is a disorder in which your blood doesn’t clot normally because it lacks sufficient blood-clotting proteins /factors. If you have hemophilia, you may bleed for a longer time after an injury than you would if your blood clotted normally. Men are more likely to be affected because the ailment is connected to the X chromosome. Hence, haemophilia is more common in males, despite the fact that it can affect females causing difficulties with menstruation and childbirth, mentioned Chitresh.
It is to be mentioned that World Hemophilia Day is a global healthcare event celebrated on the 17th of April every year, started by the World Federation of Haemophilia (WHF) with the intention to raise a call for the government authorities and local policymakers for the provision of a better treatment and care in addition to promote better control and prevention with haemophilia. This year the theme for the day is “Access for All: Prevention of bleeds as the global standard of care”.
Aryans College of Law organises Moot Court Competition
Mohali, 30th April
With the aim to provide the practical experience of the Indian Court System & to enhance their advocacy skills an Intra College Moot Court Competition was organized by Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Adv. Bikramjit Passi, President, All India Human Rights, Social Worker graced the occasion as chief guest.
In his valedictory speech, Adv. Passi said, “Such competitions must be encouraged as students get to know the real rush of being a lawyer. It makes sure that the student doesn’t miss out on the practical aspect of the field. Such application and practice of mooting skills would help them in their journey to become lawyers and as lawyers. It is a commendable effort by the team.”
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group Congratulated the team including Kajal,Anish & Ranjit who are the winners of Intra College Moot Court Competition. He added that Moot court competitions are highly prestigious and hold significant value in the legal system. Dr. Anurag Dhiman, Dr. JK Saini were also present for judging various rounds.
The students displayed great enthusiasm and zeal throughout the competition.The competition consisted of Preliminary Rounds, Semi-Final Round, and the Final Round. The Final Round was judged by Adv Bikram jit Passi. The Teams Including Kajal, Anish, Ranjit, Muskan, Nittin & Gurvinder appeared in the final round before the bench. Team 1 including Kajal,Anish & Ranjit present as Prosecution and Team 2 Muskan,Nittin & Gurvinder present as Defence.
