Law Students of Aryans shine in Punjabi University Patiala Results.

Law students of Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh, brought laurels to the college in the examinations conducted by Punjabi University, Patiala.
In BALLB, 8th semester examination, Harneet Kaur bagged 1st position with 80%, Vanshita Mahajan bagged 2nd position with 72.2% respectively and Nihar Bala bagged 3rd position with 72% marks.
Dr. Davinder Kumar Singla Principal Aryans College of Law congratulated the students and faculty for the hard work. Such excellent results by the students add more name and fame to the College, added Singla.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans was the only Law College in the region to be associated with Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in the years 2019,2020 and 2021.For the first time, Pearson VUE on behalf of Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has made Aryans College of Law the Exam Centre for Law School Admission Test (LSAT). The score of the test is being used by famous law schools of America & Canada i.e Harward, Yale, Stanford University, British Columbia, Chicago etc.

Governor Haryana, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya today graced the tricity cup in Chandigarh as Chief Guest. ‘Punjab De Sher’ team representing the Punjabi film industry in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) season 10 faced The Educators during an exhibition match played at the Cricket Stadium, Sector 16 on Saturday.
The Educators led by Dr. Anshu Kataria included representatives from various colleges and universities from Chandigarh and Punjab region. The team Punjab De Sher was comprising of well-known Punjabi film stars Binu Dhillon, Jassi Gill, Babbal Rai, Gavie Chahal, Dev Kharod, Ninja, Rahul Jaittly, Suyyash Rai, Anuj Khurana, Dakssh Ajit Singh, Mayur Mehta, Vikramjit Singh.
Played at flood lights, the match was inaugurated by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya by tossing the coin which witnessed a lot of enthusiasm among the local spectators. The cup was organized in association with Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group was specialy present.
The team owner of Punjab De Sher, Puneet Singh said that his team is playing Celebrity Cricket League since 2016. The objective of organizing this exhibition match is to create excitement among the local people and our stakeholders about CCL and Punjab De Sher. More such exhibition matches will be organized in Chandigarh and Punjab in the coming days.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Governor Bandaru Dattatreya praised the efforts of the organizers and said that such events awaken the youth towards sports and generate energy in them so that they stay away from evils like drugs. He also emphasized that all the educational institutions engaged in spreading education have highlighted the importance of sports by holding the bat today. The Governor expressed best wishes to the Punjab De Sher team for the upcoming matches of CCL.
The league matches of CCL will start from February 23 wherein around 200 artistes from eight regional film industries will participate. The final match will be played on March 17. In this series, Punjab De Sher will face Bengal Tigers and Mumbai Heroes in their two league matches at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium. All matches of the league will be telecast on India’s top sports and entertainment channels including regional channels.

With the aim to encourage everyone to eliminate the disparities and inequities that create barriers to Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) testing, prevention, and access to HIV care, Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organised a seminar on World’s AIDS Day on this years’s theme “Let Communities Lead”. Aryans B.Sc. Nursing, GNM & ANM students participated in quiz, debate, poster presentation.
While interacting with the students, Mrs. Nidhi Chopra, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing said that Acquired Immuno deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is one of the deadliest pandemics in history. India has about 2.47 Million people living with HIV and approx 66000 news cases recorded last year. Today, there are laws protecting those living with HIV, there have been scientific improvements in HIV therapy, and we know a lot more about the disease.
On the occasion Principal made the students to take the oath for their participation in raising the awareness about AIDS in society. It is to be mentioned that World AIDS Day is observed on December 1st every year around the world. It is celebrated to show support for the people who are infected with HIV and to give tribute to AIDS patients. In 1988, World AIDS Day was established as the first international health day.

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today held its 12th Convocation in PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sec 31, Chandigarh. Governor, Haryana Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya was the Chief Guest while Prof. Rajive Kumar, Member Secretary All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & Dr. Puneet Girdhar, Joint Director, Medical Education and research were the Guest of Honor. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function. The meritorious students approx. 125 from various programs including Engineering, Law etc were conferred degrees. The convocation ceremony started with the Lamp Lighting ceremony followed by a welcome prayer.
Governor, Haryana in his convocation address while congratulating the students said that degree holders have to decide for themselves whether they want to become a job creator or a job provider. The process of learning in life does not end, but from today is the beginning of new education and achieving new goals”, said Dattatraya. He exhorted the students to develop the ability to lead the society and move ahead by examining the opportunity. It is a matter of pride for us that the new education policy 2020 has been prepared under the leadership of our country’s illustrious and dynamic Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, it is an excellent education policy. It emphasize on practical knowledge rather than theoretical learning. & joining hands with the leading initiatives and major schemes of the Government of India like Make in India & Startup India.
Governor further said that youth were the assets of the country and should contribute towards nation building activities. He said that the nation could develop only when youth were focused, disciplined and growth oriented and urged students to inculcate good values like discipline, patriotism, sincerity and devotion, added Governor.
Bandaru Dattatraya said that it is not merely convocation but a new beginning for another challenging life. Students of today are the Founders of tomorrow’s Nation. We need to bring down the strong boundaries that we have put on the students to help them grow in their desired field. Students should also have right kind of attitude to grow and have success in life, they should be open to learning, be creative and think about societal problems”, he added. He advised the students to become a good citizen and work day and night to earn Fame for themselves and the entire Country. Be proud of being Indians and having studied in India as we have excelled in all fields, He added.
Governor Haryana further said that Aryans is among those Colleges which is doing a good job in the overall development of its students. He congratulated the management of Aryans which was started with just 100 students and 1 College and now is imparting quality education to over 3500 students in 8 Colleges including Engineering, Law, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Degree, Education, Paramedical etc. He advised the graduates and postgraduates to register themselves at their employment exchange offices at their respective districts so that they can be contacted for the various job openings in their state as well as across the Country.
Dr. Anshu Kataria while congratulating the students said that it’s a proud moment for Aryans to add these young talents for the progress of the Society. Kataria said that we don’t need Funds from our alumni, but we want these students to Earn Name and Fame for themselves, Society and their Nation in the coming years.

Under the student welfare department, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh in collaboration with the OTT channel Chaupal, presented a Nukkad Natak to promote Punjabi Language at Aryans Campus. Aryans students of Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Nursing, Paramedical, Physiotherapy etc. participated enthusiastically. The audience was enthralled by the performance. The students were applauded whole-heartedly for their energetic rendition.
The purpose of this enactment was to promote Punjabi language and to push the dying art of Nukkad Natak in the Punjabi society and culture. The entire activity was held under the supervision of Dr. JK Saini, Director, Aryans Group of Colleges. He emphasized on the need to conduct such act which promote Punjabi language and culture and which is the need of the hour also.

As per the directives of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, Legal Services Day was celebrated by Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. A legal aid awareness camp was organized by Aryans LLB & BA. LLB students along with the faculty members in nearby villages.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that the aim to organize this free legal awareness camp was to empower the disadvantaged sections of society to seek and demand justice services. Also, Legal literacy helps the weaker section to stay aware & updated of their various legal & constitutional rights, he asserted.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Singla, Principal, Aryans College of Law said that such awareness camp always impart practical knowledge about the basic legal rights and remedies provided under various women related laws & various machineries of the Justice delivery system available for redressal of their grievances, he added. Many cultural and gaming events were also organized for the occasion.

He also made the students aware of theimportance of Pollution Free Diwali and encouraged them to enjoy Diwali in its purest form by lighting lamps, not by playing with firecrackers. The staff and students enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.
