Mr. Grey, Mr. Delhi, Mr. Talented 2021, Fashion Model, Artist; Miss Varsha Dangi Fashion Model, Actor, APA Miss India Finalist,Miss Talented, Best Fitness Blogger 2021 & Mr. Anurag, Mr. UP First Runner Up, Choreographer, Founder, Art in Motion Dance Studio interacted with Aryans students of Law, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, B.Ed, Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated all for their achievements.
The workshop focused on importance of dress up, dance, confidence, discipline, punctuality, communication skills, runway modeling, body language, posing, camera facing etc. Modeling is one of the most glamorous professions in the world. Personal grooming, hygiene, dressing and the way you conduct yourself in professional setting shows your attitude, professionalism and are key to your success along with studies, said Grey & Anurag.
Varsha said that Keeping the body active has the massive benefit of keeping the mind sharp, and for students, learning to dance can develop their personality in multiple ways. Dance is now much more than just a co-curricular activity to note down in your achievements. Later the tips for various dancing styles including contemporary, hip hop, locking popping, bolywood style etc. were also given.

Fourth Free Covid-19 Vaccination Camp held at Aryans
In view of surging cases, as after Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta variant of Corona Virus, the omicron variant is gaining momentum, a vaccination camp was organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Chandigarh in association with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Punjab at Aryans Campus.
In this vaccination camp, first & second dose was administered to around 50 persons belonging to 18 & above age group including students, teaching & non teaching staff along with people from nearby region.
The Paramedical team including Mr. Ramanjeet Singh Multipurpose Health Worker; Ms Amandeep Kaur, Lab Technician from Community Health Center, Kallomajra was present in camp.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while appreciating the initiatives of health department said that once again entire world is recording a steep spike in Covid-19 cases amid fresh concerns caused by the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, and to protect oneself from the virus, vaccination is important. It is now the social responsibility of every individual to reach at camps and help the administration in preventing this wave of the pandemic, added Kataria.

Aryans organizes Legal Aid Awareness Camp on National Consumer Day
To highlight the importance of consumer rights and to focus on the need to spread awareness about consumer importance and responsibilities, Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized Legal Aid Awareness Camp on National Consumer Day in nearby villages & the population was detailed about Voting Rights for Women, Fundamental Rights, participation in Panchayats, Marriage Law, Law on Divorce & Maintenance, Law against Domestic Violence, Dowry Prohibition and Female Foeticide. Mrs. Sukhman Bath, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, District Bureau of employment and enterprises, Patiala, Govt. of Punjab was the Guest of Honour. The camp was organized under the leadership of Prof BS Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group.
On the completion of camp while addressing & encouraging the law students in Aryans Campus, Mrs. Bath said that such awareness camp always impart practical knowledge about the basic legal rights and remedies provided under various women related laws & various machineries of the Justice delivery system available for redressal of their grievances. Consumers have been now empowered & has also brought changes in the process by which consumer complaints are dealt with, added Bath.
Prof BS Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group said that Legal literacy camp platforms act as catalysts to help everyone to engage constructively with the government and access their basic rights and entitlements, women’s empowerment which are key for their survival and well-being. Aryans law students being a part of this awareness camps were exposed to practical knowledge which is a must for budding lawyers.
It is to be mentioned that December 24 is celebrated annually in India as National Consumer Rights Day to commemorate December 24, 1986, when the Consumer Protection Act received assent of the President of India. The students from LLB & BA. LLB including Anish, Kajal, Ranjeet, Muskan, Nitin, Sneh, Ravina, Madhuram, Balraj, Simran participated as volunteers in this camp.Ms. Sanskriti Rana, HoD, Ms Akanksha, Ms Swati, Ms Daljiner, Faculty Aryans College of Law were present.

Lt Governor, Jammu & Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha, launched a unique ‘Happiness’ app titled “Your One Life-YOL” approved by All India Council Of Technical Education ( AICTE), New Delhi, developed by the founding team of Sh. Yogesh Kochhar and Sh. Anoop Bansal and their company Royster Resources. Prof. (Dr.) Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE was Guest of Honour & Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh & President, Federation of Self Financing Technical Institutions (FSFTI), All India was the special guest. The event has been done in association with Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. The launching was done in Convention Centre, Jammu & attended by more than 500 students of technical education of Jammu & Kashmir and thousands of students studying in various 9000 colleges across country through online mode.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lt Governor pointed out how the young and old remain immersed and in a state of ‘SOAKING’ in the internet, instead of ‘SEEKING’ from the Internet for development. He lauded the technological developments in the Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence & equally stressed the need to protect our personal mindshare that gets compromised as it gets herded and hoarded depleting the ability of users to exercise their minds.
Chairman, AICTE, Dr. Anil D Sahasrabudhe while addressing said that by ‘seeking’ in the Internet with a purpose we can build potential but by ‘soaking’ in the Internet we merely become floating food for digital and social media companies. We will be building a unique block chain with all the users and institutions as our ‘partners’ and not mere ‘users’. He pointed that Facebook is valued at 1 Trn USD with approx. with 3 billion ‘USERS’, where each user mind-share is worth approx. USD 400 as part of the 1 Trn for FACEBOOK. While the use of Facebook for most sere yields nothing.
Speaking on the occasion, the founder of the app Sh. Yogesh Kochhar & Sh. Anoop Bansal, Royester, Resources said that this app will redefine ‘USERS’ and ‘USAGE’. It will help to show to the user in fascinating manner, her own ‘MINDMAP’ and ‘MINDSHARE’and enable them to protect it from getting eroded or hoarded. The app maps and manages the user’s stress and happiness levels.

Aryans celebrates Founder’s Day with students of Blind School
Continuing its decade old tradition, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh organized a special function at the “Institute for the Blind”, Sector–26, Chandigarh to distribute winter wear to blind students. The function was organized to celebrate the 73rd birthday of Aryans Group’s Founder, Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria (D.C). Aryans distributed winter wear, sweets and fruits to hundreds of students on this occasion.
On this occasion, the students presented a cultural program in which they sang a welcome song & few patriotic songs. Parduman, Narinder Bisht, Labh Singh and few other students presented their talent by singing solo and group songs.
The function was attended by Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria himself; Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group; Mrs. Rajni Kataria, Treasurer, Aryans Group; Dr. Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group; Mr. Manu Kataria; Mr. J.S. Jayara, Principal, Institute for Blind & other teachers including Ms Anu Tandon, Ms Kuljeet Sodhi, Mr. Rajesh Arya etc. The whole cultural program was coordinated by Management of the Institute.
Dr Anshu Kataria, the only son of Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria said that Aryans Group started with one B School, but with his guidance & support in a short span of 15 Years the group is running Engineering College, Law College, Management College, Business School, Education College, Nursing College, Degree College, Polytechnic College.
Born and brought up of Muktsar, Prof Roshan Lal Kataria is founder of Aryans Group of Colleges. Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria did his MA (Economics) from Dehradun. He started his career as an Economics lecturer in Government College, Muktsar and Zira. Later he worked in Chandigarh for more than 10 years for spreading awareness regarding UGC/NET examination.

Chief Justice Ansari (Retd.) addresses Aryans Law Students on Human Rights Day
To celebrate Human Rights Day,Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a webinar on “Equality, Reducing Inequalities, Advancing Human Rights”. Justice Iqbal Ahmed Ansari, Former Chief justice Patna High Court, Chairperson, Punjab State Human Rights Commission was the keynote speaker. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the Webinar.
Justice Ansari while interacting with students explained all 30 articles of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) chartered on this day in 1948. He also explained History and protection of Human Rights under International Human Rights Law. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a milestone document that proclaimed the rights which everyone is entitled to as a human being, regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political opinion, national origin, property, birth or other status. The Declaration sets out universal values and is available in 500 languages, he added.
He further said that this global crisis has been fuelled by deepening of poverty, rising inequalities, structural & entrenched discrimination & other gaps in human rights protection. Only measures to close these gaps and advance human rights can ensure we fully recover to a world that is better and more resilient, just and sustainable.
It is to mention that International Human Rights Day is observed on December 10 annually. The main aim behind celebrating this day is to improve the physical, social, cultural and spiritual well being and welfare of the vulnerable group of people globally. On this Occasion a poster presentation competition was also organised & students participated enthusiastically.
