Former Chief Justice Vijender Jain addressed a group of law students in a webinar, discussing the importance of the Indian Constitution.
Aryans college of law, rajpura, near chandigarh organised a webinar on covid-19-fall out, consequences and enactments. Hon’ble mr. Justice vijender jain, former chief justice, punjab & haryana high court, former chairperson, haryana state human rights commission, former chairperson, uttaranchal state human rights commission was the keynote speaker while advocate gagan pradeep singh bal was the conversationalist and dr. shivam kumar was the moderator. Anshu Kataria, chairman, Aryans Group, enthusiastically welcomed the guests. Hundreds of students from ll.B and b.A-ll.B participated in this webinar.
Mr. Justice Vijender Jain expressed his grave concern about the impact of the virus on the poor and their dire circumstances.
Justice Jain elaborated that the pandemic has significantly altered the lifestyle of individuals worldwide. In relation to the aftermath and repercussions of the event, he further stated that it has significant economic implications. Justice Jain emphasized the need to revive the economy and support the impoverished, particularly those who work tirelessly and earn meager wages. The diverse needs and requirements of different social groups should be addressed by opening up with necessary precautions. Justice jain expressed happiness and contentment regarding the active participation of students in web-based courses and discussions.
While discussing the positive aspects, justice jain said though with collective wisdom, the world will find solution to this pandemic which is the result of human blunders to the nature but it has taught us that mother earth has given sufficient for our needs but not sufficient for our greed. While expressing his appreciation, he thanked the corona warriors, including media personnel, para medical staff, nurses, and doctors, who played a crucial role in the nation’s fight against the virus. Justice jain stressed the importance of aligning with the web and adapting accordingly.
