Who are Eligible for This Course?

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) or its equivalent examination from a board recognized or established by the Central/State Government.
  • the Certificate/Attendant course is open to candidates from any stream who have successfully completed their basic schooling.

Future Scope

1. Frontline Operation Theater Attendant
The primary role within corporate, private, and government hospitals. Graduates are responsible for setting up the surgical environment, handling the layout of sterile linens, and preparing non-technical theater infrastructure before the surgical team arrives.
2. Sterile Supply Assistant / CSSD Trainee
Working as a crucial support member in the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). They assist in collecting, packaging, and sorting surgical instruments, ensuring strict adherence to the institution’s initial decontamination protocols.
3.Patient Care & Transport Assistant
Specializing in the safe, structured transit of pre-operative and post-operative patients. They master the techniques of shifting patients safely between wards, intensive care units (ICUs), and surgical tables , minimizing physical trauma.
4.Surgical Equipment Maintenance Aide
Ensuring that basic OT utilities—such as surgical spotlights, specialized tables, suction apparatuses, and waste disposal systems—are clean, functional, and reported immediately if they require professional calibration.

5.Daycare & Ambulatory Clinic Assistant
Employment in standalone day-surgery clinics, cosmetic surgery centers, or dental surgical suites where basic, fast-paced theater workflows require disciplined attendants to manage turnover between minor procedures.
6. Emergency & Trauma Block Support Staff
Assisting nursing and technical staff in high-pressure emergency rooms or trauma centers. They ensure that emergency surgical kits and patient beds are continuously restocked, clean, and prepped for incoming critical cases.
