Newly Elected State Teams of SPER Felicitated at Aryans Campus

The Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER) successfully organized a Meet and Greet Programme at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Punjab, to felicitate the newly elected State Executive Teams and State Women Forum Team Members of Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.

Renowned Pharma Experts including Dr. Upendra Nagaich, National Secretary, SPER; Dr. Inderbir Singh, Vice President, SPER (Central); Dr. J. S. Dua, President, SPER Punjab; Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Secretary, SPER Punjab; Dr. Anjali Sharma, President, SPER Women Forum Haryana; Dr. Rupinder Kaur Sodhi, President, SPER Women Forum Punjab; Dr. Manju Nagpal, Secretary, SPER Women Forum Punjab; Dr. Preet Kaur Khaira, Joint Secretary, SPER Women Forum Punjab; and Dr. Anjana Bali attended the programme. Dr Anshu Kataria Chairman Aryans Group presided over.

The programme commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Inderbir Singh, Vice President (SPER Central), who highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by SPER to promote excellence in pharmaceutical education, research, innovation, professional networking, and community outreach. He emphasized SPER’s commitment to empowering pharmacy professionals and fostering academic and research excellence across the country.

Dr. Upendra Nagaich, National Secretary, SPER, elaborated on the pivotal role of SPER in advancing the pharmacy profession and contributing to societal development through education, research, and professional service. He encouraged the newly elected members to actively participate in SPER activities and work collectively for the betterment of the profession.

The newly elected members of the Punjab State Executive Committee and State Women Forum were formally introduced by Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Secretary, SPER Punjab, who welcomed the office bearers and expressed confidence in their ability to strengthen SPER’s activities at the state level.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Anshu Kataria, emphasized the indispensable role of pharmacists in improving healthcare delivery and stressed the need to develop highly competent pharmacy professionals capable of addressing emerging healthcare challenges.

Appreciating SPER’s contribution towards strengthening pharmaceutical education and research, Dr. Kataria announced that Aryans Group of Colleges will provide financial assistance of Rs 12 lakh for one year to SPER for organizing seminars, conferences, workshops, symposiums, faculty development programmes, continuing education programmes, and other academic and research activities.

The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks presented by Dr. J. S. Dua, President, SPER Punjab, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests, office bearers, faculty members, and participants for their enthusiastic support and contribution to the success of the event. He reaffirmed SPER’s commitment to promoting professional excellence and collaborative growth within the pharmacy fraternity.
