World Diabetes Day celebrated at Aryans
With the aim of creating awareness regarding various types of diabetes & preventing & managing them aryans college of pharmacy and aryans institute of nursing, rajpura, near chandigarh aryans students of b. Sc: Nursing, GNM, ANM, B Pharmacy, and D Pharmacy participated in the skit and poster presentation.
Mrs kamlesh, principal, aryans institute of nursing during her interaction with students told that type1, type 2, pre-diabetes and gestational diabetes diabetes is formed when the sugar level in your blood rises due to a lack of production of insulin. The usual symptoms of diabetes are increased hunger, increased thirst, involuntary weight loss, frequent urination, blurred vision, severe tiredness, and sores that do not heal, she explained.
It should be noted that World Diabetes Day is commemorated every year on 14 November to create awareness on diabetes prevention, treatment, and symptoms, in memory of Frederick Banting, who found insulin. This day also brings to light the need to adopt a healthy lifestyle and educate people on diabetes.
