Aryans Law College Hosts Moot Court Society Inauguration.
Aryans College of Law, located in Rajpura near Chandigarh, recently inaugurated its moot court society. The ceremony in the Aryans’ campus was attended by Dr. Shipra Gupta, a professor in the Department of Law at Panjab University in Chandigarh, has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of law. Ivneet Walia, an associate professor at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law in Punjab, is an expert in the field of law. Dr. Devender Singh, the principal of Aryans College of Law, was present. Aryans law students, including those pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, attended the ceremony. The event kicked off with a lamp lighting ceremony, which was followed by a curtain raiser to officially inaugurate the society.
Dr. Shipra stated that moot courts have been an essential component of the legal curriculum in Indian universities since 1985. Moot court is a type of legal education that requires students to research, write, and deliver oral arguments on a specific legal issue or problem.
Dr. Walia, during her speech, emphasized that the main objective of moot court is to prepare law students for their future professions by offering them a practical legal setting to enhance and refine their skills. Participating in moot court competitions allows students to enhance their abilities in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
As part of the event organized by the top law college in punjab and chandigarh, the student committee was honored and recognized with sashes and badges.
