Health Minister, Punjab inaugurates First Aryans Healthcare Job Fest
Around 20 top Healthcare companies including Pharmaceutical industries, Hospitals etc recruited job seekers
Around 87 eligible candidates from various courses including Pharma, Nursing, Paramedical, Law, Management etc. were shortlisted by the Top Healthcare companies & renowned Hospitals in First ever Exclusive Job Fest organized for healthcare sector today at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Around 108 job seekers from PAN India participated in a one day job fest.
Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, S. Chetan Singh Jouramajra was the Chief Guest and Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over this recruitment drive.
Minister while appreciating the initiative taken by team Aryans said that the group is striving hard to bridge the ever widening gap between industries and Academia and is regularly counseling and guiding the students for their successful career placements. He also highlighted the fact that the Mann Government is making tremendous efforts to address the unemployment issue in the State.
Jouramajra added that “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future” & it is a matter of great satisfaction to see our qualified youth getting placed in top companies on a single platform at Aryans . The demand for roles in healthcare has already witnessed a spike & has created numerous employment opportunities after pandemic in the country & abroad. The youth will get the jobs on one hand and performance of departments will be optimized by overcoming shortage of staff on other.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while expressing gratitude to Minister & addressing participants said that there is no dearth of Jobs but there is a shortage of skilled & trained youth in Indian Job sectors. The students should be trained more in the practical work so they can compete with the industrial requirements. Kataria further said that Aryans Institute of Nursing & Aryans College of Pharmacy have done a wonderful job by jointly organizing first ever health care job fest.
Kataria added that the health care job opportunities are buzzing after the Covid-19 slump, driven by robust hiring activity across several sectors as opportunities have opened up for a transitioning workforce even as employee mindset itself has changed to be a multitasked since the pandemic broke out.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans Group has already conducted 52 job fest in past. Heavy rush was witnessed at Himalaya and Dabur who offered highest salary package of Rs 3 Lakhs per annum. Top Healthcare Companies including Fortis Hospital Mohali, Himalaya, Alembic Pharmaceutical Limited, Macleods, Dabur, Eden Critical Care Hospital, Varsoy Healthcare, Mankind, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, Alkem Laboratories, Azencia Lifesciences, GNH India Pharmaceuticals Limited, Yukti Herbs, Ments, Planet Ayurveda, Meyer, Kepler etc participated in the fest.
