Aryans launches Innovation Club “Innovesta” on Engineers Day
Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh, celebrated Engineer’s Day on the theme of ‘Engineering for a Sustainable Future’ for this year on its campus. Various activities were scheduled and students from computer science, mechanical, civil, electrical, and other disciplines participated with enthusiasm.
On the event, aryans innovation club ‘innovesta’ was also formed which will be conducting different activities like, brainstorming sessions, presentations, workshops, guidance and counseling, etc, on regular basis throughout the year to instill a culture of innovation and startups among the students, stated dr. Jk saini, director, aryans college of engineering. He explained the theme of engineers day, stating his concern regarding the role of engineers for ensuring the safety of humankind in the time of both natural and human-induced disasters.
In the past, numerous innovations done by Aryans students such as ‘Aryans Solar Boat’ which can be driven with the power of solar energy, ‘Aryans Android App’ to make campuses paperless, ‘Aryans Save Kashmir App’ for rescue operation during flood in Kashmir, ‘Aryans Life Saving Glove’ to offer timely help to people exposed to the threat of cardiac disease, ‘Aryans Safety Helmet’ to offer timely first aid at construction/ mining/ industrial locations, ‘eMunshi- Advocate Diary’ Android App for significant Court Date, ‘Aryans Shikara App’ to book online Shikara at Dal Lake, ‘Aryans Ramadan App’ to set alarm for Sehar time and Iftar time etc were initiated and welcomed at different Government Levels and attracted attention of numerous people.
