
MLA, Ghanaur Releases Poster of Aryans Event World Health Day to be celebrated at Aryans on 7th April
On this year’s theme “Our Planet, Our Health”, World Health Day would be celebrated at Campus, Aryans Group of Colleges on April 7, 2022 (Today). MLA, Ghanor, S. Gurlal Singh would grace the occasion & Dr. Rashmi Nasra, Deputy Quality Head, Multi Super Speciality Hospital, Sohana, Mohali would be the key note speaker. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges would preside over the event.
A poster for the same has also been launched by the Chief Guest. Prof. BS Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group; Ms. Kusum Sood, Dean Academics, Ms. Amarjot Kaur & Ms. Kalindi Madaan, Coordinator, Aryans Group were present during the poster release.
It is to mention that since 1950, World Health Day has been celebrated on the 7th of April of each year. Various students activity for the world health day celebration will also be organized.

Sargam Society & Aryans organised Lata Mangeshkar Memorial Night at Tagore Theatre
A three days musical program organized by Sargam Society of Indian Music and Art (Regd.), Mohali & Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh was concluded in Tagore Mini Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh. The third day ended with a musical tribute to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar Ji. The versions of songs sung by Lata and her duets with other male singers reverberated the hall and regaled the audience. On the occasion, Shri Manmohan Singh; Patron Society, Manmohan Garg; MP Gupta, Advisor to the Society; RD Kailey, Organiser & other office bearers were present beside many dignitaries amongst the audience.President Society, Dr. Kataria thanked everyone.
The mood was set from the very first song “Tumhin Mere Mandir” & “Agar Mujhse Mohabbat Hai” sung by Dr Komal Chugh in her rich soulful voice followed by a duet “Yoon Hi Tum Mujhse” sung by two promising singers Rajbir and Suman. Sushil Nagpal and Babita reproduced a golden era hit “Ek Tera Saath Hamko” received a good applause.
The youngest budding artist Nitya Aggarwal surprised the audience with her rendition of “Ye Samaa”. The two popular faces BD Sharma and Pushpa Saxena beautifully doled out “Rimjhim Ke Geet”. Neeru Khattar sang the melodious “Maayi Ri Main”. Other singers were equally worthy of appreciation when they sang “Bachpan Ki Mohabbat” (Garima Jindal); “Kitna Pyara Waada” (Tarsem and Babita); “Jhilmil Sitaron Ka” (Sushil Nagpal & Priya Marwaha); “Ik Pyar Ka Nagma” (Dr .Sonika Chugh); “Tujhe Jeevan Ki Dor Se” (BD Sharma and Sucheta Mukhopadhaya); “Dil Tera Diwana” (Abhijit and Suman); “Chhup Gaye Taare” (Rajbir & Sucheta) and lastly “Ham Tere Pyar Mein” by Pushpa Saxena. The only exception of male solo song was by RD Kailey who was specially asked to sing “Ye Raat Hai Pyasi” and he did the justice to this song.

Sargam Society & Aryans Group to organize Lata Mangeshkar night at Tagore Theatre
To celebrate upcoming Holy Navratras, Sargam Society of Indian Music & Arts (Regd), Mohali & Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh are going to organize a three day Devotional Musical Program from 2nd to 4th April to be held in Tagore Mini Hall, 6.00 PM onwards. In this event, 20 singers have been shortlisted who will dole out devotional offering and will also pay a tribute to legendary Lata Mangeshkar ji, said President of the Society & Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria.
Vice President, Sushil Nagpal and Advisor to the Society, Shri Mohinder Pal Gupta, told that in Covid affected past two years, such musical programs have not been held in the auditorium in Chandigarh, so we expect a great enthusiastic participation by the audience and those who will take part on stage as restrictions have now been relaxed.
In this 3 days long program, on first day along with the Musical offerings to Mother Deity, Sitar Recital by Ms Vanita accompanied on Tabla by Shri Jai Dev from Patiala would be performed. On 2nd day, a Program devoted to Lord Rama and Lord Krishna followed by an Odissi Dance Performance “Sita – A Warrior” by Kabita Mohanty and Team Nrityabhinaya from Delhi would be performed. The day 3 will witness a Shradhanjali to Padam Vibhushan, Bharatratna Lata Mangeshkar ji by various singers.
It is to be mentioned that Entry to witness the program is free. Entire three days program has been designed under the direction of Sh. RD Kailey, who himself is a singer and the important advisory role has been of Shri M P Gupta, a musicologist.

Aryans student secures 2nd Rank in MRSPTU, Bathinda academic results
In the recently released merit list of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, the Student of Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh has brought laurels to the institution by bagging silver medal and securing 2nd position in the merit list.
As per university merit list Ms Tanya Priya from B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (ME) from 2016-2020 batch has secured 2nd position with 91.8% marks & a silver medal.
Dr. J.K. Saini, Director, Aryans College of Engineering congratulated the student and faculty for the continuous efforts and hard work done. He said that the passion and commitment of all teachers to their role as educators is the primary reason for the outstanding academic performance of the college over the years.

ISTE, President addresses Aryans Faculty
ISTE declared 7.5 Crores grant for 450 FDPs
With the aim of developing the teaching and research skills of various faculty members Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) has released a grant of approximately 7.5 crores in year under 450 Faculty Development Programs (FDP) which are conducted online in various colleges including government, private & the institutions belonging to aspirational sector, said Dr. Pratap Singh Kakasaheb Desai, President ISTE, while gracing the concluding session on “Quantum Computing” organised by Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the session.
It is to be mentioned that hundreds of participants have joined this 6 days online program & credit goes to President, ISTE for reinitiating the ISTE-AICTE schemes for FDP.
