
Internationally Certified Career Counsellor interacts with Aryans students on “Job Opportunities & Career Trends”
Overall unemployment rate fell to 7.6% in March from 8.10% in February as per reports in India: Richik
The Training & Placement Cell of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organised a workshop on “The Interview Generating Resume”. Captain Richik Sinha Roy, Internationally Certified Career Counsellor, National University of Singapore Graduate & Indian Army Officer was the expert who has trained over 51,280 job seekers. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the session.
Richik while interacting with students said that the economy in India is getting back on track after being hit by COVID-19 for two years, But still, the unemployment rate is high. Haryana recorded the highest unemployment rate in March at 26.7%, followed by Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir at 25% each, Bihar at 14.4%, Tripura at 14.1% and West Bengal at 5.6% as per reports, added Richik.
He further highlighted the etiquettes of a good resume and the key areas that we should focus on to make our resume more presentable. An effective resume must contains professional summary, work experience, education, language, software and skills, interests and certification. Make your resume simple but significant,” said Richik.
Finally, he also spoke about how a good resume isn’t built overnight but by participating in maximum skill enhancement workshops and internship opportunities as amply provided by Aryans to the students throughout the duration of study.
Aryans students including Engineering, Law, Pharma, Nursing, Paramedical, Management, B.Ed, Polytechnic picked up the tricks of designing a CV and acing an interview with confidence in this day long workshop. Prof. BS Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group, Dr. JK Saini, Director, Aryans College of Engineering, Mrs Kalindi Madaan, HoD, Aryans College of Pharmacy, Ms Himanshi, HoD, Aryans Institute of Nursing etc. were present.




World Malaria Day celebrated at Aryans
To bring greater awareness to the global fight and recognize the existence of malaria across the globe “World Malaria Day” was celebrated with this year’s theme “Harness innovation to reduce the malaria disease burden and save lives” at Aryans Institute of Nursing & Aryans College of Pharmacy, Rajpura Near Chandigarh. Various activities including an awareness session, Poster Display, demonstration on prevention of mosquito breeding etc were organized for B. Pharma, D. Pharma, B. Sc. Nursing, GNM & ANM students. Mrs Neha Thakur, HOD & faculty members including Ms. Himanshi, Ms. Kanika Dogra, Ms. Nandini were present.
It is to be mentioned that as per World Health Organization’s (WHO) data, as many as 241 million people were infected with this deadly disease in 2020-21 across the globe. In the session special emphasis was put on awareness about not letting water go stagnant as Mosquitoes need stagnant, still water to lay their eggs and for the young to successfully hatch and mature.

Earth Day celebrated at Aryans
To act in a bold way, innovating in a broad way, and implementing in an equitable manner, Earth Day was celebrated a day prior at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh on theme “Invest In Our Planet. Aryans students from Engineering, Law, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, BEd and Agriculture participated in Tree Plantation; Poster Presentation & Project based activities. Faculty members including Mrs Navneet Kaur, Mrs Neelu Bhatia, Ms Akanksha Rana, Ms Swati etc were present.
It is to be mentioned that Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22 to spread awareness about environmental protection and acknowledge the global climate crisis. With each passing year, the climate is getting worse and it is our duty to help save and conserve our mother nature.

A delegation from Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today met & greeted Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney, Deputy Commissioner, Patiala. With her new appointment, Sakshi has become the first female officer to hold the post.
Prof. B. S. Sidhu while greeting her said since last 15 years Aryans Group of Colleges is committed for quality education. Most of the students are not able to afford the high fee structure of professional courses in big educational institutions. But Aryans has emerged as the first choice for needy & deserving students, added Sidhu.
Sawhney accepted the invitation of Sidhu for the Principal & Teachers Meet to be organised at Aryans Campus on 30th April on the theme “Empowered Woman Empowers Women”. MLA, Ghanaur addresses Aryans students on World Health Day
Health and Education is the top priority of newly formed Bhagwant Maan Government. The Government will not leave any stone unturned to make the basic needs affordable and available to masses. Delhi government has set a benchmark for entire country by starting ‘Mohalla clinics’ and many other initiatives in health sector, said by MLA Ghanaur, Sh. Gurlal Singh while addressing the students and faculty members on “World Health Day” at aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.
The event was presided over by Dr. Anshu kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group. On the occasion Dr. Rashmi Nasra, Dr. Parveen Kataria, Prof.BS Sidhu, Dr. Garima Thakur, Dr. JK Saini also addressed the audience. S. Gurbhej Singh ,Sarpanch Alampur,S. Manpreet Singh ,Sarpanch Nepra were also present.
Dr. Parveen Kataria while highlighting importance of happiness towards healthy life said that Happiness is the highest form of health”. Happiness will come only when we will be healthy and fit. But today we live in a world where we value things more than people, work more than family, food more than health and status more than life, added Kataria.
Dr. Nasra said that Ideal health includes not just physical but also mental and social well-being. A person must possess all three if he or she wants to live life to its fullest. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), health is fundamental to human happiness and well-being, she told.
Hundreds of students from Aryans College of Pharmacy and Aryans Institute of Nursing participated in various activities organised on the occasion.






MLA, Ghanaur Releases Poster of Aryans Event World Health Day to be celebrated at Aryans on 7th April
On this year’s theme “Our Planet, Our Health”, World Health Day would be celebrated at Campus, Aryans Group of Colleges on April 7, 2022 (Today). MLA, Ghanor, S. Gurlal Singh would grace the occasion & Dr. Rashmi Nasra, Deputy Quality Head, Multi Super Speciality Hospital, Sohana, Mohali would be the key note speaker. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges would preside over the event.
A poster for the same has also been launched by the Chief Guest. Prof. BS Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group; Ms. Kusum Sood, Dean Academics, Ms. Amarjot Kaur & Ms. Kalindi Madaan, Coordinator, Aryans Group were present during the poster release.
It is to mention that since 1950, World Health Day has been celebrated on the 7th of April of each year. Various students activity for the world health day celebration will also be organized.
