The reason for decline in the number of Admissions in Punjab is the previous Congress Government because they did not pay a single penny for the year 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20.
Bhagwant Mann Govt. will streamline the implementation of Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) & would ensure that no SC students will be deprived of education.
As soon as I took the position of minister, our Govt immediately paid the amount 180 Cr as 40% state share to around 1.90 lakh SC students of Punjab for the academic year 2021-22. In 2022-23 also we will make timely payment to SC students so that they get uninterrupted education,
This was said by Dr. Baljit Kaur, Cabinet Minister, Social Security, Women and Child Development, Punjab during the inauguration ceremony of Aryans Scholarship Mela organised by Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh at Abohar Palace. Sh. Akash Bansal, IAS, SDM Fazilka as Guest of Honour. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the function. Sh. Deep Kamboj, Aam Aadmi Party & Sh. Gagan Chugh, CEO, Bombay Institute, Abohar was also present.
She further said that in today’s Aryans Scholarship Mela, 100 SC daughters from backward and border areas including Malout, Fazilka, Muktsar, Ferozepur, Jalalabad, Abohar etc. will fulfill the dream of getting education in Chandigarh without any tuition fees in Aryans Group of Colleges.
While expressing Gratitude to the Minister, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that under her visionary guidance two months back an initiative of “Each One, Reach One, Teach One was taken to choose needy & deserving students of Abohar, Malout, Fazilka etc. Today we have selected around 100 students belonging to categories including General & SC/ ST to study in Aryans Group of Colleges in various job oriented courses including B.Tech, Law, Pharma, Nursing, Paramedical, Management, Education, Agriculture etc.
Sh. Akash Bansal, SDM, Fazilka said that I will always put my best efforts to provide quality education to the students of Malwa region. All SC students can avail scholarship opportunities & get enrolled themselves in Aryans and adjoining colleges. He appreciated the efforts of Dr. Anshu Kataria and the entire Aryans management to organise this event for needy & deserving students.
Sh. Gagan Chugh, Chief Executive officer, Bombay Institute Abohar said that it’s the dream of every student to study in Chandigarh, who belong to the border area of Abohar, Fazilka etc. But due to lack of money the students can not afford the high fee structure of manu educational institutions. In this program, SC/ ST students would be given free education while on the other hand General students have also been selected for partial scholarship as per Govt rules.
Around 100 eligible students were selected under the SC / ST Scholarship Scheme and scholarship letters were distributed. After getting the scholarship letters, the students said that they are thankful to Aryans Group for doing virtuous work by giving admission under Scholarship Scheme on zero fee basis. The students assured that they will illuminate not only their parents but also the name of Aryans in academics.
On the occasion Dr. Garima Thakur, Deputy Director, Aryans Group; Mrs Manpreet Maan, Dean Scholarship Dept; Er. Jaswinder Singh, HoD, Aryans College of Engineering, Faculty members including Dr. Dharmender Singh, Manjeet Kaur, Ramanpreet Kaur etc were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving information said that students who are interested in doing B.Tech, MBA, LL.B, BA-LL.B, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc (Agri), GNM, ANM, BA, B.Ed, MA(Edu), Diploma, B.Sc (MLS), B.Pharma, D.Pharma, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, Paramedical etc can take admission after their 10th, 12th and Graduation. The admissions would be given on merit cum means basis.
From 2021-22 session, the Aryans Group of Colleges has started new paramedical courses including B.Sc Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Technology-Anesthesia & Operation Theatre and Cardiac Care Technology under IKG-PTU, Jalandhar.

World Day for International Justice celebrated at Aryans College of Law
To mark importance of “World Day for International Justice”, LLB & BA-LLB students participated in various activities organised by Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group praised all the students for participating in the competitions whole heartedly and motivated them to partake more in future days.
Adv. Navneet Kaur & Adv. Priyanka Faculty, Aryans College of Law while discussing the importance of Justice said that the judicial system of a nation puts every person in their own place, and fights corruption in the process. Ensuring justice is the chief goal of the judicial system, and it takes every measure necessary to ensure the same.
Law students during an awareness drive explained the villagers against social injustice & also pledge to bring the various communities together to eliminate poverty, gender, and physical discrimination, illiteracy, religious discrimination to make a socially integrated society.
It is to be mentioned that 17 July is celebrated as World Day for International Justice is the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute in 1998. With the help of this treaty, the International Criminal Court (ICC) was established. In 1998 since that day, about 139 countries have signed the Court’s treaty and nearly 80 States, representative of every region of the world, have ratified it.

Aryans Nursing students shine again in Nursing Council Results
Students of Aryans Institute of Nursing (AIN), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh brought laurels again by giving their excellent performance in the Final Examinations.
In General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) 2nd Year Amanpreet Kaur (Punjab) bagged 1st position by securing 73.85%, Amritpal Singh (Haryana) bagged 2nd position by securing 71 % and Rahul (Chandigarh) bagged 3rd position by securing 65.28% in the 2nd year Final exams conducted by Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC), Mohali.
Mrs. Nidhi, Principal AIN congratulated the students for putting their hard work, efforts and performing well. She added that such results by the students and College regularly makes the College one of the most preferred destinations among students.

Aryans Organises Mehndi Competition on the eve of Eid
A mehndi competition on the occasion of Eid was organized in the premises of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today where the girls belonging to all religion participated in various activities.
Students of Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Management, Agriculture, Education etc, participated with enthusiasm. They created beautiful mehndi designs on different themes. The competition was held under the supervision of Himanshi Choudhary & Sandeep Kaur, Faculty, Aryans Group of Colleges. Toiba Sadaf (B. Pharmacy) was adjudged first with the title “Mehndi Queen” while Amanpreet Kaur (BA- LLB) and Ekta Shukla (B. Pharmacy) as second and third respectively.
The students hugged each other and wished Eid Mubarak. Seviyan (Kheer), Chocolates were distributed among students & faculty members. Himanshi Chaudhary stated that “We must be ready to sacrifice things that are dear to us because God has endowed us with all those things.
