Minister Baljit Kaur inaugurates Aryans Scholarship Mela
Around 100 students of the region got seats in Engineering, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical etc. under Scholarship
The reason for decline in the number of Admissions in Punjab is the previous Congress Government because they did not pay a single penny for the year 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20.
Bhagwant Mann Govt. will streamline the implementation of Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) & would ensure that no SC students will be deprived of education.
As soon as I took the position of minister, our Govt immediately paid the amount 180 Cr as 40% state share to around 1.90 lakh SC students of Punjab for the academic year 2021-22. In 2022-23 also we will make timely payment to SC students so that they get uninterrupted education,
This was said by Dr. Baljit Kaur, Cabinet Minister, Social Security, Women and Child Development, Punjab during the inauguration ceremony of Aryans Scholarship Mela organised by Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh at Abohar Palace. Around 100 eligible students were selected under the SC / ST Scholarship Scheme and scholarship letters were distributed.
