Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh & Gurukul Education Welfare Society, Fazilka are organising a Scholarship & Sabhyacharak Mela on 3rd Sep at Anand Palace, Fazilka. The scholarship mela would be inaugurated by minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development, Food Processing, Govt. of Punjab, S. Gurmeet singh Khudian. The Guests of Honour will be S. Narinder Pal Singh Sawna, MLA Fazilka & Sh. Karan Gilhotra, Co Chairman-PHD Chamber, Chandigarh while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges will preside over the Event.
In this event needy and deserving SC/ ST students would be given free education while on the other hand General students would also be selected for partial scholarship as per Govt rules. The students can opt various courses including Engineering, Law, Pharma, Paramedical, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Education, Computer Science etc. For student’s scholarship queries, helpline 98776-00380 has also been launched. Floods in North India and disturbance in North east are major reasons for demand

FSFTI demands extension in Cutoff dates for admissions:
Federation of Self Financing Technical Institutions, All India (FSFTI) urged University Grants Commission (UGC) All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi to extend the cut -off date of admission for technical courses in all approved colleges to 30th Oct, 2023.
Floods in North affected Admission Process:
Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, FSFTI; President, Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) & Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh said that everyone are aware of the fact that flood in entire North India specially in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand & part of Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir etc. have affected everyone severely and students couldn’t apply for various courses due to no connectivity with other states. Not only this, more than 300 roads remain disconnected with the other parts of the country for more than a month in Himachal, mentioned Kataria.
Disturbance in North East -Another major factor:
Sh. RS Munirathinam, Patron, FSFTI & Dr. KVK Rao, General Secretary, FSFTI said that the aspiring students from North East also could not apply for their dream courses due to disturbance in the region. The curfew & non availability of internet was there for a long time in Manipur. Keeping all these facts in mind the last date for admission should be extended for 2 months at least, they added.
For the session 2022-23 as per AICTE’s academic calendar the last date of admission was 30th Oct & as per UGC notification number F. No. 1-12/2022 (DB), the last date was 31st Oct.
This year, the students are worried for the session 2023-24 because the last date to apply for various courses is 15th Sep, 2023 & lakhs of students will not be able to get the seats due to above mentioned reasons.

Companies from Healthcare, Pharma, IT, ITES, Education, E-Commerce and Manufacturing will participate in this Job fest. The aspiring freshers/ experienced can visit Aryans Website i.e. www.aryans.edu.in for free online Registration. Around 20 renowned companies will recruit the candidates for around 300 vacancies.
Dr. JK Saini, Director, Aryans Group said that thousands of fresher candidates from the tricity & other peripheral areas have already stepped into the Job Market this Year after their graduation & post graduation. In this fest, job opportunities would be available for B.Tech, MBA, Nursing, Pharmacy, Agriculture, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, M.Tech, Diploma, ITI etc.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans has achieved several milestones in the field of placements. Till now Aryans has successfully conducted 54 Job Fests at its campus in which over 1000 companies and over 25,000 candidates have participated.

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh and Aryans Overseas in association with Beta College of Information & Technology, Canada organized an interactive session for study abroad aspirants. Ms. Yana Peregudina, Principal Advisor, Beta College was the keynote Speaker of this webinar. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group, presided over.
Yana who is also an official representative of Aryans Overseas while discussing with students mentioned that Canada is one of the most preferred countries among Indian students planning to study at a foreign institute. As of November 30 this year, IRCC had processed over 670,000 study permits, compared to more than 500,000 during the same time period last year.
Yana mentioned that in November alone, over 260,000 visitor visas were processed. By contrast, the monthly average in 2019 was about 180,000 applications. Work permit processing also saw vast improvements, with nearly 700,000 work permits processed by November 30, compared to about 223,000 during 2019.

Mr. Grey, Mr. Delhi, Mr. Talented 2021, Fashion Model, Artist; Miss Varsha Dangi Fashion Model, Actor, APA Miss India Finalist,Miss Talented, Best Fitness Blogger 2021 & Mr. Anurag, Mr. UP First Runner Up, Choreographer, Founder, Art in Motion Dance Studio interacted with Aryans students of Law, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, B.Ed, Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated all for their achievements.
The workshop focused on importance of dress up, dance, confidence, discipline, punctuality, communication skills, runway modeling, body language, posing, camera facing etc. Modeling is one of the most glamorous professions in the world. Personal grooming, hygiene, dressing and the way you conduct yourself in professional setting shows your attitude, professionalism and are key to your success along with studies, said Grey & Anurag.
Varsha said that Keeping the body active has the massive benefit of keeping the mind sharp, and for students, learning to dance can develop their personality in multiple ways. Dance is now much more than just a co-curricular activity to note down in your achievements. Later the tips for various dancing styles including contemporary, hip hop, locking popping, bolywood style etc. were also given.

While interacting Shailja said that Content writing is the process of planning, writing and editing web content, typically for digital marketing purposes. It can include writing blog posts and articles, scripts for videos and podcasts, as well as content for specific platforms, she told.
She further described the roles of content in Video scripts, Email, newsletters, Keynote speeches, Social media posts, Podcast titles, White papers, Web page copy, Landing pages, YouTube video descriptions. The content writer can be a Blog Writer, Brand Journalist, Copywriter, Ghostwriter, Technical Writer & Scriptwriter.
She stressed that this profession requires a specific set of skills including Excellent grammar and style, Ability to write quickly and meet deadlines, Knowledge of various tones and structures, Creativity, Communication, Knowledge of keyword research etc.

To create awareness about conserving birds, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh placed bird houses at its 20 acre lush green campus. Around 50 bird’s nests provided by Dr. Pirthipal Singh Trust, Ludhiana were placed on the canopies of the trees inside the campus. Renowned Radiologist & Environmentalist by passion Dr. Baljeet Kaur graced the occasion. In view of covid guidelines, few Aryans students from Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Management participated in this noble cause.
Dr. Anshu Kataria Chairman Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that in the face of rapid urbanization, wildlife is losing its place in the race of survival. We also felt that it’s our responsibility to safeguard the winged friends who are losing their natural habitat due to deforestation & faced a shocking decline in numbers.
Ms. Sneha Bhardwaj, HoD, Department of Agriculture said that Punjab is reeling under an unprecedented heat wave & Water scarcity seems unprecedented as most of the surface water bodies are drying up. “While cattle and pets are fed at least once a day by their owners, wild animals and birds are on their own, which is why we thought we should do something about it, added Sneha.
Ms Anchal Jariyal , Faculty, Aryans College of law said that We are encouraging students, friends and acquaintances to hang bird feeders in front of their house and nearby trees. Feeding the birds & animals has been greatly satisfying, she added.

Tree plantation drive & Poster presentation activities were organized
Considering the manifold benefits of trees and the conducive season, Department of Agriculture, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh organized a tree plantation drive in Aryans Campus. Dr. Baljeet Kaur, Radiologist by Profession & environment lover by passion graced this occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.
Kaur while interacting said that in the blind race of development, we forget the mantra of Indian culture that nature is our mother and it cannot be exploited by excessive use of pesticides. Indian culture has accepted the importance of trees and encouraged it. Plantation of Malabar Neem trees to control pollution would be a game changer as observed in other states, she stressed.
Kataria while speaking on the occasion said that in the face of rapid urbanization, we are exploiting our natural resources. We all should actively participate in tree plantation drives to make Punjab clean, green and pollution free, appealed Kataria. He thanked Dr. Pirthipal Singh Trust, Ludhiana for providing saplings.
On this occasion a poster presentation activity was organized & students from various departments participated enthusiastically. Best poster titles were announced for Ms. Vanshita Mahajan, Ms Jyotika Ms. Jaswinder Kaur from BA. LLB. To mark this day special, staff & students planted Malabar Neem & fruit saplings. Faculty members including Ms Sneha Bhardwaj, Ms Saloni, Ms Sandeep were present.
