
Blood Donation Camp On 43rd Death Anniversary Of Lala Jagat Narain
ADC Patiala was Chief Guest while Civil Surgeon Patiala was Guest of Honour
blood donation camp close to Chandigarh, rajpura. Dr. Harjinder Singh Bedi (IAS), additional deputy commissioner of Patiala, opened the camp as chief guest, while Dr. Jatinder Kansal, civil surgeon from Patiala, was the dignified guests at the event. Dr. Anshu kataria, chairman of the Aryans Group, was in command. The donors were awarded medals & diplomas. 51 blood units were collected in this camp. 10 healthcare personnel from Rajindra Hospital of Patiala, comprising doctors, nurses, and technicians, undertook thorough medical screening of voluntary as well as eligible donors for the purpose of blood collection. The students, parents, teaching staff, and village people received medical guidance and prescription.
Adc, Dr. Bedi lauded the unselfish activities of aryans to hold blood donation camps, identifying it as a valuable contribution towards humanitarian service.
He appealed to people to come forward and contribute to the cause, stressing that lives needed to be saved. Also, by donating blood, the gap between demand and supply at the blood banks could be bridged, he said. He asked students to start an awareness campaign of intensity to make people aware of the need for blood donation.
