Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh celebrated Baisakhi with great fervour and gaiety at Aryans Campus with Aryans students of Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Management, Education and Agriculture
Students & faculty of Aryans enjoyed Vibrant and exhilarating folk dance Giddha and Bhangra. It was a treat to see the students dressed in colourful Punjabi traditional outfits. The youngsters were apprised about the rich culture and heritage of Baisakhi merriments.
Students performed Giddha & Bhangra items in the golden fields near Aryans Campus in the colourful traditional dresses to welcome the harvest season. Baisakhi marks the first day of the month of Vaisakh and is traditionally celebrated annually on 13 April or 14 April. It is seen as a celebration of spring harvest primarily in Northern India.
