Tree plantation drive & Poster presentation activities were organized
Considering the manifold benefits of trees and the conducive season, Department of Agriculture, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh organized a tree plantation drive in Aryans Campus. Dr. Baljeet Kaur, Radiologist by Profession & environment lover by passion graced this occasion. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.
Kaur while interacting said that in the blind race of development, we forget the mantra of Indian culture that nature is our mother and it cannot be exploited by excessive use of pesticides. Indian culture has accepted the importance of trees and encouraged it. Plantation of Malabar Neem trees to control pollution would be a game changer as observed in other states, she stressed.
Kataria while speaking on the occasion said that in the face of rapid urbanization, we are exploiting our natural resources. We all should actively participate in tree plantation drives to make Punjab clean, green and pollution free, appealed Kataria. He thanked Dr. Pirthipal Singh Trust, Ludhiana for providing saplings.
On this occasion a poster presentation activity was organized & students from various departments participated enthusiastically. Best poster titles were announced for Ms. Vanshita Mahajan, Ms Jyotika Ms. Jaswinder Kaur from BA. LLB. To mark this day special, staff & students planted Malabar Neem & fruit saplings. Faculty members including Ms Sneha Bhardwaj, Ms Saloni, Ms Sandeep were present.

Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh awards certificate to Aryans Law Students for internship
The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), UT Chandigarh organised Summer E-Internship programme for budding law professionals in the month of June where around 50 students of Aryans College of Law were selected under this 2 weeks programme.
At DLSA, in an event above law interns were awarded with the certificates by Sh Ashok Kr Mann, CJM-cum- Secretary & Mr. Neil Roberts, Chief Coordinator, DLSA, UT Chandigarh.
Mann while interacting with the law students said that Legal internships helps law students decide their respective areas of interest out of a plethora of opportunities offered by legal education be it a career in a corporate law firm, litigation, academics & working for NGOs.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while thanking Chief Guest & addressing students said that law students shall keep on brainstorming and aim for clarity on whatever they are witnessing. The experience which a student gains from an internship is valuable in growing a career in law, added kataria.

In the examinations conducted by MRS-PTU, Bathinda, the Students of Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh brought laurels to the college by giving excellent performance in Academic results.
In B.Tech Civil Engg. 1st position was bagged by Adil Nissar with 8.65, 2nd position by Huzaif Yaseen with 8.55 and 3rd position by Raqib Gul with 8.5 SGPA. In B.Tech Electrical Engg., 1st position was bagged by Naveen Kumar with 8.05, 2nd position by Akshay Kumar with 7.9 and 3rd position by Umer Farooq with 7.81 SGPA; In B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engg., 1st position was bagged by Gurtej singh with 9.54, 2nd position by Naimuddin Ahmad with 9.38 and 3rd position by Manpreet Singh with 9.21 SGPA. In B.Tech Electrical and Communication Engg., Seventh Semester, 1st position was bagged by Surjeet Singh with 7.78, 2nd position by Biswajeet Priyadarshi with 7.3 and 3rd position was bagged by Tufail Ahmad Shah and Zahid Hassan with 7.22 SGPA. In B.Tech Computer Science Engg. 1st position was bagged by Avneet Kumar with 7.84, 2nd position by Aabaiz Ashraf with 7.68 and 3rd position was bagged by Firdous Ahmad Mir with 7.44 SGPA. In B.Tech Mechanical Engg., 1st position was bagged by Aman Kumar with 8.67, 2nd position by Danish Shafi and Iqra Rafiq with 8.47 and 3rd position was bagged by Gh Mohi U Din Lone with 8.33 SGPA in College Academic result seventh semester result.
Dr. J.K. Saini, Diector, Aryans College of Engineering congratulated the students and faculty for the continuous efforts and hard work done. Dr. Saini said that apart from regular academics, extracurricular activities like webinars on industrial engineering, soft skills, innovations & importance of patents etc. are also being organized time to time to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students.

Aryans Law Students bags Summer E-Internship opportunity at District Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh

Amid surging cases of Covid-19, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), UT Chandigarh organised Summer E-Internship programme for budding law professionals. 50 students of Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh were selected under this E- Internship programme. The Interns came across various eminent personalities who gave an insight into the Legal Aid and services mechanism besides literacy programmes and schemes framed for “Access to Justice for All”.
During this 2 weeks long E- Internship various legal experts, psychologists and social reformers from Chandigarh including Sh Ashok Kr Mann; CJM-cum- Secretary, DLSA; Sh Rajeshwar Singh, Law Officer, State Legal Service Authority (SLSA); Ms. Seema Pascricha, Master Trainers of Mediation, Sh Neil Roberts, Chief Coordinator, DLSA; Dr Satinder Kaur; Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee; Dr Madanjit Sahota; Member, Juvenile Justice Board; Sh J. S. Jayra; Principal, Institute for the Blind; Mr. Dhananjay & Mr Simranjit Singh representing transgender Community; Sh V.K. Kapoor (Retd IPS); Member, Permanent Lok Adalat; Sh Vikramjeet Godwani; Incharge, Protection Home; Ms Sonal Kalia, Sr. Supervisor, Women & Child Helpline (181); Dr Upneet Lalli, Deputy Director, Institute of Correctional Administration etc adressed the interns on different social and legal subjects.

A free Covid-19 vaccination camp was organised today at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Chandigarh in association with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Punjab at Aryans Campus.
The vaccination camp was inaugurated by Dr. Kushal Deep Gill, Senior Medical Officer, Community Health Centre (CHC), Kalomajra & Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group. In this COVID-19 vaccination camp, 1st dose was administered to around 100 persons belonging to 18 & above age group including students, teaching & non teaching staff along with people from nearby region.
The camp was led by Dr. Gurmehar Singh, Medical Officer & Dr. Neha Puri, Ayurvedic Medical Officer. The Paramedical team including Ms Shailza, Community Health Worker; Ms Jaswinder Kaur, Multipurpose Health Worker; Ms Amandeep Kaur, Lab Technician, Manmohan Singh etc were also present in camp. Among students & staff members, along with vaccination, awareness on the rapid spread of the viral infection and the safety measures to be taken was also created.
Dr. Kataria while thanking Capt. Amrinder Singh, Chief Minister, Punjab & S. Balbir Singh Sidhu, Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab for providing free Covid vaccination said that the initiatives of the health department and the district administration are highly appreciated. It is now the social responsibility of every individual to reach at camps and help the administration in preventing the third wave of the pandemic, added Kataria.
Dr. Kushal Deep said the camp was held as per the guidelines issued by the Punjab Government. Every person above 18 years of age must get vaccinated as early as possible, he stressed.

Nursing Students of Aryans shines in Academic results
In the ANM examinations conducted by Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC), Sahibjaan (Punjab), Student of Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh bagged 1st position by scoring 918 Marks, Shailza (Himachal) bagged, 2nd position by scoring 910 marks while Kulwinder Kaur (Punjab), bagged 3rd position by scoring 897 marks out of 1400 in College Academic results.
Dr. Rajinderjit Kaur Bajwa, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing congratulated the students and faculty for the continuous efforts and hard work done. Dr. Bajwa said that apart from regular academics, extracurricular activities like workshops, seminars, community and clinical postings on nursing are also being organized time to time to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans Institute of Nursing is running GNM (3 Years) and ANM (2 Years Course) approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Affiliated to Punjab Nurses Registration Council PNRC, Mohali and B. Sc. Nursing, affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The course focuses on the study of health care of various individuals. Students are also trained on how to take care of equipment, setting up of Operation Theater, provide medication timely to patient and maintenance of records etc.
Admissions at Aryans Institute of Nursing in B.Sc. Nursing, GNM and ANM course have already been started for 2021-2022 session. In nursing, Aryans have 60 seats in B. Sc. Nursing, 60 seats in GNM Course and 40 seats in ANM Course and such excellent results by the students and College regularly makes the College one of the most preferred destinations among students. good excellent.
