
Aryans Celebrates World Cancer Day
Tata cancer hospital’s expert engages with a group of aryans pharmacy and nursing students.
To raise awareness about the significance of preventive measures against cancer, the world cancer day was commemorated today at the aryans institute of nursing, rajpura, near Chandigarh. While addressing students, the professor discussed the topic. Deshmukh stated that cancer is rapidly increasing as a non-communicable disease, not only in India but also globally. It is projected that by 2030, cancer will surpass heart disease and diabetes as the leading lifestyle disease, based on an estimate. She emphasized that any signs of cancer should not be overlooked or dismissed.
Mrs. Nidhi Chopra, the principal of Aryans Institute of Nursing, organized a variety of student activities, such as a quiz competition and slogan writing, during the occasion.
World Cancer Day was established in 2000 and celebrated annually on 4th February, seeks to improve education, raise awareness, and inspire action – by individuals, families, and governments – to provide access to life-saving cancer treatment and care for the millions of people across the globe that are living with cancer.
