AICTE- PG Scholarship

The AICTE PG Scholarship Scheme provides financial support of β‚Ή12,400/- per month to GATE/GPAT-qualified students pursuing full-time postgraduate programs such as:

  • M.E. / M.Tech
  • M.Arch
  • M.Pharm

in AICTE-approved institutions or university departments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be admitted with a valid GATE/GPAT score at the time of admission.
  • Should be enrolled in a full-time AICTE-approved PG program.
  • Must not be receiving any other scholarship, salary, stipend, or financial assistance.
  • Foreign students, sponsored candidates, and management quota admissions are not eligible.
  • Students re-admitted using a new GATE/GPAT score who have already availed the scholarship once are not eligible.

Work Responsibility

Scholarship recipients are required to engage in 8–10 hours/week of academic work, which may include:

  • Tutorials or lab assistance

  • Supporting faculty in R&D activities

  • Library assistance

  • Maintenance of labs or central facilities

Scholarship Duration

  • Valid for 24 months or duration of the course, whichever is shorter.

  • Not extendable under any circumstances.

Leave Policy

  • Casual Leave: 15 days per academic year

  • Medical Leave: Up to 30 days per academic year

  • Maternity Leave: As per Government of India norms

Important Conditions

  • Must maintain satisfactory academic performance and follow institute rules.

  • Scholarship will be discontinued for misconduct, including ragging or behavioral issues.

  • Students must not leave the course midway. If they do, full scholarship amount must be refunded.

  • No additional grant (books, contingencies, salary to institutions, etc.) is provided.

  • No claims will be accepted after 1 year from program completion.

  • All AICTE decisions are final and binding on institutions and students
