
World’s AIDS Day Celebrated At Aryans

In the motive to persuade all to eliminate inequalities and differences causing obstacles in the way of hiv testing, prevention, and hiv care access, aryans institute of nursing, rajpura, near chandigarh held a seminar on world’s aids day on this year’s theme “take the rights path: my health, my right!”.
In talking to the students, Dr. Renuka silas stated that acquired immuno deficiency syndrome (aids) is among the deadliest pandemics of all time. Even though the virus was first discovered in 1984, it has cost about 35 million lives. Nowadays, there are laws guarding those who live with hiv, there have been scientific advancements in hiv therapy, and we understand a great deal more about the illness. Despite this, numerous people are diagnosed with hiv every year while numerous others who have the disease continue to face stigma and prejudice, she said. It should be noted that World AIDS Day is commemorated on December 1st every year across the world. It is marked to show solidarity with people living with HIV and to commemorate those who are living with AIDS. In 1988, the first international health day, world aids day, was created.
