
Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh awards certificate to Aryans Law Students for internship
The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), UT Chandigarh organised Summer E-Internship programme for budding law professionals in the month of June where around 50 students of Aryans College of Law were selected under this 2 weeks programme.
At DLSA, in an event above law interns were awarded with the certificates by Sh Ashok Kr Mann, CJM-cum- Secretary & Mr. Neil Roberts, Chief Coordinator, DLSA, UT Chandigarh.
Mann while interacting with the law students said that Legal internships helps law students decide their respective areas of interest out of a plethora of opportunities offered by legal education be it a career in a corporate law firm, litigation, academics & working for NGOs.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while thanking Chief Guest & addressing students said that law students shall keep on brainstorming and aim for clarity on whatever they are witnessing. The experience which a student gains from an internship is valuable in growing a career in law, added kataria.

Webinar on Career Opportunities in Agricultural Sciences held at Aryans

To aware agriculture students about future prospects of agriculture a webinar on “Career Opportunities in Agricultural Sciences” was organised by Department of Agriculture, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh. Ms. Sneha Bhardwaj, Expert, Seed Technology addressed Aryans Agriculture students including B.Sc. Hons. & Diploma Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the Webinar.
Ms. Bhardwaj while interacting with the students said that Agriculture is an academic discipline that involves the study of various scientific, technical and business subjects related to agriculture, horticulture, farm management, poultry farming, dairy farming, agricultural biotechnology, etc. The scope of a career in Agriculture has grown tremendously in recent times with cutting-edge research and continuous innovation in the industry, she added.
She said that Indian economy is heavily dependent on agriculture and the demand for a professionally trained workforce is strident. The days of thinking of agriculture as toiling in the hot sun with returns at subsistence level are over as technology and scientific inputs have made the process less dependent on manual labour.
While answering students questions she said that The scope is endless as the agriculture industry is still in a maturing phase and new technological advancements will open new vistas for the youth to build careers on, discussed Bhardwaj.

World Day for International Justice celebrated at Aryans
Law students participated in declamation contest
To mark importance of “World Day for International Justice” A declamation contest was organized by Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh on this year theme “A call for justice in the digital economy”. Aryans students of Law, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, B.Ed, Agriculture etc participated. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group praised all the students for participating in the competitions whole heartedly and motivated them to partake more in future days.
Ms Anchal Jariyal, Faculty, Aryans College of Law while discussing the importance of Justice said that the judicial system of a nation puts every person in their own place, and fights corruption in the process. Ensuring justice is the chief goal of the judicial system, and it takes every measure necessary to ensure the same, said Jariyal.
The law students including from LLB & BA. LLB Sandeep Kaur, Amisha, Sukhmanpreet kaur, Rasal, Mansi, Muskan, Jaswinder, Pinky, Manpreet, Harneet, Raman Ghoury spoke on various topics to raise a voice against social injustice and to bring the various communities internationally together to eliminate poverty, gender, and physical discrimination, illiteracy, religious discrimination to make a socially integrated society.
It is to be mentioned that 17 July is celebrated as World Day for International Justice is the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute in 1998. With the help of this treaty, the International Criminal Court (ICC) was established. In 1998 since that day, about 139 countries have signed the Court’s treaty and nearly 80 States, representative of every region of the world, have ratified it.

Webinar on “IELTS : Gateway to International Education” held at Aryans

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a webinar on International English Language Test (IELTS). Ms Nidhi Malik, IELTS Trainer interacted with the Aryans students of Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Management, B.Ed and Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.
Nidhi while interacting with students said that IELTS primary purpose is to measure the English language competency of people who wish to work or study in areas where English is used as the dominant means of communication. It has been reported that approx 3.5 million tests are taken each year, added Nidhi.
While answering student’s questions she said that preparation for IELTS will help students to improve their language skills and they can ace the selected program in an effective manner. Obtaining a good score will increase the student’s confidence he will be able to pursue the courses without any linguistic hurdles.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans Group of Colleges has tied up with more than 500 reputed colleges and universities of Canada. Students can start their education with few courses at Aryans and complete the remaining courses at Canada under Credit Transfer or pathway programs.

In the examinations conducted by MRS-PTU, Bathinda, the Students of Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh brought laurels to the college by giving excellent performance in Academic results.
In B.Tech Civil Engg. 1st position was bagged by Adil Nissar with 8.65, 2nd position by Huzaif Yaseen with 8.55 and 3rd position by Raqib Gul with 8.5 SGPA. In B.Tech Electrical Engg., 1st position was bagged by Naveen Kumar with 8.05, 2nd position by Akshay Kumar with 7.9 and 3rd position by Umer Farooq with 7.81 SGPA; In B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engg., 1st position was bagged by Gurtej singh with 9.54, 2nd position by Naimuddin Ahmad with 9.38 and 3rd position by Manpreet Singh with 9.21 SGPA. In B.Tech Electrical and Communication Engg., Seventh Semester, 1st position was bagged by Surjeet Singh with 7.78, 2nd position by Biswajeet Priyadarshi with 7.3 and 3rd position was bagged by Tufail Ahmad Shah and Zahid Hassan with 7.22 SGPA. In B.Tech Computer Science Engg. 1st position was bagged by Avneet Kumar with 7.84, 2nd position by Aabaiz Ashraf with 7.68 and 3rd position was bagged by Firdous Ahmad Mir with 7.44 SGPA. In B.Tech Mechanical Engg., 1st position was bagged by Aman Kumar with 8.67, 2nd position by Danish Shafi and Iqra Rafiq with 8.47 and 3rd position was bagged by Gh Mohi U Din Lone with 8.33 SGPA in College Academic result seventh semester result.
Dr. J.K. Saini, Diector, Aryans College of Engineering congratulated the students and faculty for the continuous efforts and hard work done. Dr. Saini said that apart from regular academics, extracurricular activities like webinars on industrial engineering, soft skills, innovations & importance of patents etc. are also being organized time to time to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students.

Aryans Law Students bags Summer E-Internship opportunity at District Legal Services Authority, UT Chandigarh

Amid surging cases of Covid-19, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), UT Chandigarh organised Summer E-Internship programme for budding law professionals. 50 students of Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh were selected under this E- Internship programme. The Interns came across various eminent personalities who gave an insight into the Legal Aid and services mechanism besides literacy programmes and schemes framed for “Access to Justice for All”.
During this 2 weeks long E- Internship various legal experts, psychologists and social reformers from Chandigarh including Sh Ashok Kr Mann; CJM-cum- Secretary, DLSA; Sh Rajeshwar Singh, Law Officer, State Legal Service Authority (SLSA); Ms. Seema Pascricha, Master Trainers of Mediation, Sh Neil Roberts, Chief Coordinator, DLSA; Dr Satinder Kaur; Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee; Dr Madanjit Sahota; Member, Juvenile Justice Board; Sh J. S. Jayra; Principal, Institute for the Blind; Mr. Dhananjay & Mr Simranjit Singh representing transgender Community; Sh V.K.
