Aryans Group awarded with “Fastest growing Group of Colleges in North India" Award

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh has been conferred upon with “Fastest growing Group of Colleges in North India" Award. Hon'ble Dr. Malcolm Johnson, Deputy Secretary General, International Telecom Union, Geneva- A UN elected body; Hon’ble Prof. Alok Prakash Mittal, Member Secretary, AICTE; Hon’ble Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna - Director of All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE & Director (PMSSS & SWAYAM); Hon’ble Prof. PB Sharma, President, AIU etc gave this award to Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges at 3rd National Education Summit for Skill Development along with 12th National Education Summit & Awards 2018 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.



The award was given away by Communication Multimedia And Infrastructure (CMAI Association of India) supported by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE); Association of Indian Universities (AIU); Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE);Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD); Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME); Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE);Ministry of Electronics & IT, National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) & Department of Telecom.



It is to be mentioned that this award has been conferred to total 15 top Institutions of the Country and in Punjab region only Aryans Group of Colleges has been selected for this award.


Dr. Anshu Kataria after receiving the award said that its a proud moment to get this award. Kataria added that in last 11 Years, students and staff of Aryans Group have achieved many milestones with their hard work and this award is the result of all the efforts put by team Aryans in past years.


Earlier to this Aryans Group has been awarded for “Excellence in Education” by Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Former President; Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Ex-Chief Minister of Punjab; Sh. Ramadhan App re-launches by JK students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh
Mohali 15 May

To serve the Muslim community for time management during Ramadhan starting from 17th May, Four Aryans JK girls of Computer science branch of Aryans College of Engineering have re-launched “Ramadhan APP”. The necessary changes according to the Ramadhan Kareem-2018 have been made in the App



The app would help to solve the problem of Muslim community during Ramadhan for their fasting. The app has been updated with the Morning Sehar time and evening Iftar time as per the Ramadhan Kareem.



The app featured an automatic alarm which would buzz in the morning at Sehar time to awake them and in evening at the Iftar time to remind them for their meals. The app is available on Google Play Store.


B. Tech students namely Mehwish Rashid & Bisma Parveen who hail from Srinagar while Pooja Safaya and Mansi Salaria who hail from Jammu have set a true example of Religious Beliefs, universal brotherhood and respect for the religion of each other by developing this app which would help the entire community for time Management.


Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that Aryans has always motivated its students for the innovations and work on live projects which could bring a revolution in them and the society. He said that Kashmiri students possess the instinct to work in this direction and hence they have always been supported for their ideas.


Students while speaking said that this app would solve the problem of those Muslim people who find tough to match the variations in sehar time in the auspicious month of Ramadan due to various physical or biological factors. Though it’s a small initiative from our side for our community added JK girls.


It is to be mentioned that earlier to this, four major innovations done by Aryans students namely “Aryans Android App” in lieu to make campuses paper free, “Aryans Save Kashmir App” which was developed for the rescue operation at the time of floods in Kashmir, “ Aryans Life Saving Glove” developed to provide timely assistance to the people prone to the risk of cardiac disease, “Aryans Safety Helmet” to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction/ mining/ industrial sites, “eMunshi- Advocate Diary” Android App which will buzz an alarm and remind the lawyers about the important Court Date and cases etc were launched and applauded at various Government Levels and gained interest of many people.


It is worth mentioning that Aryans has emerged as a popular destination for the JK students. Aryans is the only campus near Chandigarh outside Kashmir having majority of JK students. Over 1800 JK students from various parts of Kashmir are studying in Aryans in various courses including B.Tech, Leet, LL.B, BA-LLB, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc (Agri), GNM, ANM, B.Ed, MA(Edu), B. AICTE grants approval to Aryans College of Engineering for Vocational Courses
Mohali 15 May

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi has given approval to Aryans College of Engineering (ACE), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh to run D- Voc i.e. Diploma in Vocational (Skill Development) Courses at its Campus.

AICTE under its vide notification number F.No. North-West/2018/1-3516444010 dated: 29-Apr-2018 has given approval to Aryans College of Engineering to start 3 Diploma Vocational Courses in Skill Development in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning; Automobile Servicing; Graphics and Multimedia each with 25 seats for the academic year 2018-19. The Eligibility for all 3 courses is 10th Pass with Duration of 3 years. The Syllabus would be as per Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT).

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group thanked AICTE for giving approval to Aryans to start with new skill development courses. Kataria said that Vocational course provides knowledge of the subjects as well as vocational skills. These focuses on specialized practical skills, offer insight to requirements of particular types of jobs, provide specialized learning which is an added advantage.


Aryans Institute of Nursing celebrates International Nurses Day
Mohali 13 May

Aryans Institute of Nursing (AIN), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh celebrated International Nurses day under the theme “Nurses A Voice to Lead – Health is a Human right” at Aryans Campus. GNM and ANM students of Aryans Institute of Nursing participated in the various activities organized on the occasion.

The function commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony. Students organized oath ceremony, Rangoli Competition, Cultural activities etc on the theme to mark the celebration and exhibit their responsibilities towards the society.

Nursing students while taking oath pledged to serve the society with their profession during their studies as well as after the completion of their course. The students also took oath to uphold the values of their Nursing profession.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that nurses had a significant role in society and the profession of nursing was the noblest of all as it was entirely serving the humanity.

Ms Neha Thakur, HOD, Aryans Institute of Nursing highlighted the role of nurses how the pressure had been building on nurses as professionals and how they should cope with it. She said in the coming days there would be more challenges as the demand for better health and patient care is rising day by day

It is to be mentioned that Nurses day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is widely considered the founder of modern nursing.


Canadian Delegation visits Aryans Group of Colleges
Mohali 11th May

To create more opportunities for the students in higher education abroad for the students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh, a delegation comprising of Canadian University delegates and experts from the field of education visited Aryans Campus. Mr. Manoj Patki, Managing Director, Staar United Group was the keynote speaker on the occasion.

The objective of the program was not only to assist students in expanding their awareness in regard to the opportunities available globally, but to offer precise guidance of how they can fulfil such aspirations with minimum financial and time loss.

Manoj Patki while interacting with the students briefed about the opportunities available in Canada including credit transfer programs whereby students will receive direct entry into the third or the fourth year of the degree programs helping the students to reduce the overall cost of education in Canada.

Patki added that students got eligible for a three-year work permit in Canada upon completion of their degree, as per the current regulations. A number of students who receive a three-year Canadian work permit succeed in securing employment in Canada and can apply for Permanent Residency in Canada.

Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh gets Nod for Pharmacy College

Aryans Group of Colleges has been given approval to start Pharmacy College.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), New Delhi has given approval to Aryans for 4 years B.Pharma course and 2 years D.Pharma course.

Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi has already given its nod to Aryans for B.Pharma and D.Pharma course.

AICTE vide its letter no. North-West/2018/ 1-3763642381 dated 30.04.2018 has alloted 100 seats of B.Pharma and 60 seats of D.Pharma.

Dr.Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans College of Pharmacy said that we are thankful to AICTE and PCI for giving green signal to start Pharmacy College. He Further added that over 13 lakhs medical aspirants appeared in NEET Exam this year , but number of seats available for medical aspirants are very less.

Pharmaceutical courses are emerging as one of the top choice after Medical courses. A career in the pharmaceutical sciences is full of opportunities. Pharmacists can practice in community pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, extended care facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and regulatory agencies.


Aryans Group organized a Seminar on Job Opportunities for Fresher’s in International Market

Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a seminar on “Job opportunities for Fresher’s in International Market” at its campus. Mr. Rajpal Singh Sagoo, General Manager, International Sales & Marketing (Central Asia), Health Care Business was the key note speaker. Fresher students of Engineering, Law, Management, Nursing, Agriculture, Diploma etc attended the seminar.

Rajpal Sagoo said that the basic motive of the seminar was to widen the arena of knowledge of students regarding various job opportunities for fresher’s in International Market and guide them how to capture those opportunities.

Sagoo motivated the students about Career Planning during the studies & urged them to “Earn while Learn” in the pace of foreign Universities. He further added the students should join Summer Internship Programs to learn about this.

“Students should come up with their Business ideas also like Blogger, Virtual Assistant., Tutor, YouTube Personality, Social Media Manager, Social Media Influencer, Social Media Consultant etc. while studying or join some Part Time jobs”, Rajpal Further added.

Aryans College of Engineering organized workshop & seminar on Internet Security
Mohali 26th April

Computer Science engineering (CSE) department of Aryans College of Engineering, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a workshop and seminar on Networking & Role and Importance of Internet. Students of CSE and BCA attended the program.

Dr. Abhinav Bhandari, Associate Professor, CSE Department, Punjabi University, Patiala & Er. Rajeev Prashar, Head Manager, A2IT Soft ZCC Group were the Guest speakers on the occasion.

Dr. Abhinav outlined the importance of database management systems, importance of protecting databases, the challenges faced and various solutions used to tackle these challenges

Er. Rajeev Prashar explained the topic cyber security, importance of cyber security using examples of scenarios we are used to in daily life – using social networks like Facebook and Instagram etc. He spoke in great depth about how one should take privacy and security of personal data seriously in this age of social media.

The seminar was also followed by a Live Demo session of Exchange of Data, Sharing of Data safely within an area through Local Area Network (LAN).


Interactive session on Transgenic and Medicinal plants organized by Agriculture Dept of Aryans Group
Mohali 22nd April

Agriculture Department at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized an interactive session on Transgenic and medicinal plants at its Campus. Prof. R.C Gupta of Botany Department from Punjabi University, Patiala was the Guest speaker on the occasion. Students of B.Sc (Agriculture) participated in the session.

Prof. R.C Gupta while interacting with the students described the concept of Transgenic Plants, Genetically Modified Organism (GMO), Genetically Modified Food, Risks and Precautions of Genetically Modified Organisms etc to the students, Medicinal Plants etc.

Prof. Gupta mentioned that transgenic plants are Genetically Modified Plants with the most desirable characteristics specially to enhance plant's resistance to a disease, insect or drought, a plant's tolerance to herbicides, improving a food's quality or nutritional value, increased yield using techniques of modern biotechnology called gene technology.

Prof Gupta further described about the characteristics & importance of Medicinal plants which are in use since ancient times to cure diseases. The use of black pepper, cinnamon, Turmeric, peppermint, cloves, aloe, Tulsi, Green Tea etc were also mentioned.


Aryans students shines in IKG-PTU, Jalandhar & Punjabi University, Patiala
Mohali 20th April

2 students of Aryans College of Engineering (ACE), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh namely Shahid Ul Islam and Amandeep Singh have excelled in the merit list of IKG-PTU, Jalandhar. On the other hand B.Com (5th Sem) students of Aryans Degree College have given 100% result.

Amandeep Singh (Patiala), Punjab bagged 1st position by scoring 82% in B.Tech Electrical & Electronics Engineering, 2012-16 Batch while Shahid Ul Islam (Anantnag), Srinagar bagged 5th position by scoring 83% in B.Tech Civil Engineering, 2013-17 Batch.

While 3 students of B.Com (5th Sem) 2015 Batch including Prabhjit Kaur (Kapurthala), Punjab bagged 1st position by scoring 78.9%, Manpreet Kaur (Rajpura), Punjab bagged 2nd position by scoring 76.1%, Lachhami (Rajpura), Punjab bagged 3rd position by scoring 74.9% at College level.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while congratulating the students and faculty for the hard work said that Aryans students are competing & shining in every field like academics, sports, innovations, cultural etc with lakhs of students of affiliating University.

Kataria further added that this is a result of scientific approach, extended inputs on part of faculty and the desire to excel on a continuous basis.

White Global and Aryans Group of Colleges organized a short marathon at Srinagar

The White Global Charitable Trust in association with Aryans group of colleges is organized a short marathon of 3 kms approximately named as "TAARUK-Run for a Reason" in cognizance with awareness of depression and acceptance of Autism.

Mr. Waheed Parra, General Secretary of J&K sports council was the Chief Guest, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of ctolleges, Doifode sagar dattaray, Additional Deputy Commissioner were the Guests of Honour.

Dr. Arshid pandit senior scientist, recipient of National Award, Manjot Singh Kohli, National Secretary Human Rights Watch Mr. Basant Rath, IG traffic were the Guests of Honour in marathon.

The winners were awarded with cash prizes and cash coupons.

The event was focused on spreading positivity as a tool to help overcome depression and aware society about the acceptance of autism. The society needs to nurture the children as artistic rather than autistic.

Infact in our Judiciary system an advocate and his Munshi have to maintain and remember the lot of record of their forthcoming case dates.

To ease the lawyers in maintaining the Court hearing records, students of “Aryans College of Law” with the help of students of “Aryans College of Engineering”, Near Chandigarh have jointly developed a Legal Tech Startup- an Android App which will buzz an alarm and remind the lawyers about the important Court Date and cases.

Christened as “eMunshi- Advocate Diary” this app is available for free download on Google Play Store. The app has been developed by 3 Aryans Law students namely Amanpreet Singh (Nawanshahr), Punjab; Baldeep Kumar (Phillaur), Punjab; Shafait (Rajouri), JK and 3 Aryans Engineering students namely Govind Sharan (Buxar), Bihar; Deepawali & Narinder Kaur (Hoshiarpur), Punjab.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that to develop this app, not only Aryans Law students but also Aryans Engineering students have worked hard in last 3-4 months. In this app the content part have been developed by Aryans Law students while Technology part has been developed by Aryans Engineering students..

“Various other similar apps were also studied to overcome the shortcomings in those apps so that a refined and updated app can be developed”, Kataria added..

Kataria while congratulating the students and staff said that Hope this small effort done by these students would meet the expectations of lawyers and law students.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group while speaking on the occasion said that apart from Theory and Practical, Aryans always motivate & inspire its students for Innovations. Ms Jasmeen Baidwan, HoD, Aryans College of Law & Ms Simranjot Kaur, HoD, Computer Science Department said that the credit goes to the staff and students for suggesting & developing this app.

Jasmeen while speaking said that apart from keeping the record of court dates, various Bare acts have also been updated in the app to be used by the legal professionals as ready reference.

In this app the lawyers can maintain the client summary as well as case details. They can upload the information of various court dates of different courts cases and on due date the alarm would buzz in the morning time to remind them about their important dates.

This is not the first innovation by Aryans students. In the past also they have been doing the innovations.

2 Days 11th Annual cultural Extravaganza “Roshaan” of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh today concluded on the high note at Aryans Campus. The function commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony by Aryans Group patrons Prof. Roshan Lal Kataria and Mrs. Rajni Kataria; MLA, Rajpura, Sh. Madan Lal Jalalpur; Young leader, Sh. Gagandeep Singh; Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria.

Students of Engineering, Law, Management, Nursing, Education, Business School, Degree College etc participated in various colorful cultural items and mesmerized the whole crowd with their performances representing the states including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu Kashmir, North East etc.

The starcast of Subedar Joginder Singh including Kulwinder Billa, Rajvir Jawanda, Aditi Sharma, Jaggi Singh, Charan Singh and Navdeep Kaler etc performed on their hit numbers.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while congratulating all said that Aryans Group has students from all across the Country who are studying in various courses & sets an example of “Unity in Diversity”. He added that besides studies, extra co-curricular activities are equally important. They help in the overall development of the students.

2 days Cultural Extravaganza “Roshaan” today kick started with the Baisakhi celebrations at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Students of various courses including B.Tech, MBA, LL.B, BA-LL.B, BBA, BCA, GNM, ANM, B.Ed, MA (Edu), Diploma, BA etc participated in the function.

Students performed Giddha & Bhangra items on live Dhol in the golden fields near Aryans Campus in the colourful traditional dresses to welcome the harvest season.

The Starcast of Subedar Joginder Singh movie including Kulwinder Billa, Rajvir Jawanda, Jaggi Singh, Charan Singh and Sharan Mann would give performance in Aryans 11th Cultural Extravaganza “Roshaan” to be held on 5th April at Aryans Campus, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.

Prof. B.S. Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group said that around 10,000 crowd from nearby schools, colleges, villages including Aryans Students would participate in this event.

Giddha, Bhangra, Shiv Tandav , Ramp Walk, Mime, Naati, Kashmiri Dance , Dogri, Western dance, Bhojpuri, Dark Monster, Jhumar, Punjabi dance, Fusion, Act, Folk dance, solo song, solo dance etc. would also be performed by the students of Aryans Group.


A seminar on "Causes & Evils of Drugs Abuse" organised at Aryans Campus
Mohali 30th March

A seminar on Anti-Drug awareness was organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh at its campus. Dr. Ashitya Mariya, Drug Safety Physician and Dr. Ria Chabra, Drug Safety Physician from Parexel International were the guests & speakers on the occasion. Students of LL.B, BA-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA etc participated in the seminar.

Dr. Ashitya Mariya while addressing the students said that children and adolescents who use drugs are often affected by vulnerabilities beyond their control such as poverty and exposure to violence, growing up in homes with a history of substance abuse, and peer pressure. Mariya further added that drug abuse could have long lasting negative effects on mental and physical wellbeing.

Dr. Ria Chabra talked about the serious consequences of Drug Addiction on the individual, family and the society and urged upon all the stakeholders to help in discouraging this menace by spreading awareness about Drug Addiction.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group said that the problem of Drug Addiction is required to be addressed very seriously and effectively and all the stakeholders need to contribute their efforts in this regard. He urged the youth to work in unison to uproot this evil from the society. Sidhu added that the youth who have taken to drugs should not be ostracized; instead a loving approach can pull them out of this quagmire of drugs.

Mirchi Neon Run organized with the support of Aryans Group
Chandigarh 28th March

The first ever exotic Grandeur Mirchi Neon Run was organized by Radio Mirchi with the support of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh as an Education Partner at Circus Ground, Sector- 17, Chandigarh.

The Run was flagged off by Renowned Punjabi Singer & Actor, Ranjit Bawa; Mayor, Chandigarh, Sh. Davesh Moudgil and Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr. Anshu Kataria.

Over 2500 participants of all age groups from Chandigarh participated in this run with the theme “Run, Dance, Party”.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while speaking said that Aryans is pleased to be the part of this unique run inspired by international neon theme based runs carried for the first time during night wearing glowing neon T shirts and bands.

Punjabi Singer Armaan Bedil and Ranjit Bawa also enthralled the crowd with their popular songs.


45th Aryans Job Fest to be held on 28th March at Aryans Campus
Mohali 25th March

Over 15 big and small companies from various corporate and industrial sectors have been confirmed for 45th Aryans Job Fest to be held on 28th March at Aryans Campus situated on Chd-Patiala Highway, Rajpura, near Chandigarh. Free online registration has already been started on Aryans website i.e www.aryans.edu.in

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving this information said that hundreds of candidates from North India and other states have already registered for this fest. In this fest job opportunities would be available for B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, M.Tech, Diploma, ITI, Nursing etc.

Kataria further said that apart from providing good quality Technical & Higher education to the students it’s the responsibility of the Colleges to get their students placed. The job fair would give job opportunities to Engineering, Medical, Nursing, Graduation etc passed out or passing out students.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group said that in India, the number of unemployed educated youth is the highest. Thus such job fests provide the youth with great job opportunities. He also said that in Punjab itself, huge job opportunities are available but there is always a gap between job seeker and job provider. Thus Aryans always tries to bridge this gap. He further said that candidates need to carry 10 copies of their resumes and passport size photographs with them.

Ms. Sukhaman Bath, Registrar, Aryans Group said that comapnies including Mechlin Technologies, Berkeley Infra, Spanx Infotech, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Ltd, Techcruzers Software Development LLP, Xirgosoft Technologies, CS Soft Solutions Pvt Ltd, ATURS Enterprises, Smart Serve Infotech Pvt Ltd, Orange Corporate Solutions etc would visit in one day fest at Aryans.

It is to be mentioned that Aryans has achieved several milestones in the field of placements. Till now Aryans has successfully conducted 44 Job Fests at its campus in which over 8000 companies and over 10,000 candidates have participated.


4 Industrial visits organizes by Aryans College of Engineering>
Mohali 22nd March

With an aim to go beyond academics, Students of Applied Sciences, Mechanical engineering and Civil Engineering Departments of Aryans College of Engineering (ACE), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh visited Verka Milk Plant, Patiala; Central Tool Room Ludhiana and Avtar’s Roll and Forge Industries, Mandi Gobindgarh & Bhakra Nangal Dam situated on River Sutlej.

In verka milk plant, students got chance to know about the processing of the milk including storage, processing, flavouring, packaging, supplying etc. students were also guided about the various processes to kill the bacteria and micro organisms in the raw milk along with Curd and butter preparation.

Mr Anil Kuman, HOD, Mechanical Dept said that in Central Tool Room students were introduced about collaboration of central tool room with other industries including Samsung. Students visited various software labs, manually operated machines, numerical control and vertical machining centre.

Anil further said that in Avtar’s Roll & Forge industries, Students were shown four important sections of industry which consists of Foundry and casting unit, Boilers fabrication unit, Machining unit and Forging unit. Information regarding the operation parameters, performances and specifications and other regarding the working and operation of boilers were given to the students.

Ms. Rajdeep Kaur, HOD, Civil Dept said that at Bhakra Nangal Dam, students were informed about the process of hydro power generation. They visited the live model of the dam, structural design and working process of the dam.

Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director Administration, Aryans Group said that such industrial visits would benefit and bring a positive change in the thinking and practical behavior regarding Education and specially Engineering in the students. It provides a unique opportunity for students to gain an insight into a working environment related to a subject area.

Mechanical Engineering Department of Aryans Colleges of Engineering (ACE), Rajpura near Chandigarh organised two days National Seminar on Research in Engineering:- Challenges & Opportunities at its Campus. Er Varinder Pal Singh Kalsi, Former Scientist & HOD, Mechanical, Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh; Dr. Sanjay Kajal, HOD, Mechanical, UIET, Kurukshetra University; Dr. Devinder Singh, Assistant professor (Physics), Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib; Dr. Jatinder Pal Singh, Lecturer (Mathematics), GSSS, Sangatpur Sodhian, Fatehgarh Sahib; Dr. Vivek Jain, Associate Professor and Dr. Dheeraj Gupta, Associate Professor from Thapar Institute, Patiala were the speakers on the occasion.

Er. Varinder Pal Singh Kalsi shared his views on the use of quality material to obtain the customised product. He further discussed the change of properties in the material occurred due to heating, annealing, hardening or quenching etc and the performance of the material.

Dr. Sanjay Kajal motivated students to correlate the theoretical knowledge with the existing industrial needs and to meet the challenges of today's industrial needs and to use knowledge wisely to solve them. He motivated the students to devote the time, plan and to do feasibility study of project before implementing action.

Dr. Davinder Singh discussed various aspects of glass, Thermal analysis on glass, physical and chemical properties. He mentioned the uses of Barium Glass over Lead based glass and uses of glass to trap radioactive waste.

Dr. Jatinder Pal Singh mentioned the use of fuzzy logic and devices and thereby reducing cost and time for transportation, assignment etc.

Dr. Vivek Jain & Dr. Dheeraj Gupta discussed about Micro–Machining and surface Engineering. They highlighted the role of natural activities in researches for the development of new products and machines and the use of communication and Microwave radiations for communication, heating etc.
