To encourage reading among common public and putting another effort towards the "DIGITAL INDIA" program, Students of Computer Science department at Aryans College of Engineering, Chandigarh have developed a website www.worldofbooks.in where online purchasing and selling of second-hands books at lower rate would now be possible has been launched today. Students of Computer science department of 6th Semester namely Waris Mazid, Anurag Gupta, Manish Kumar and Abhiranjan Dubey took the initiative in making this website on which thousands of popular top-selling Books of engineering, commerce, humanities, novels etc have been made available to students at much cheaper rates for which students just need to post its requirement on the website.

Waris Majid, Kashmiri student of Aryans while giving more information said that the website provides users an open platform wherein users can post their own advertisement for selling books and be contacted by a potential buyer and can buy wide range of used books on very affordable price. Anurag Gupta another students said that besides books now students would be able to search and download notes, Lab Manuals, research papers etc of different fields in PDF. "Very soon we are also launching android, windows and IOS apps on their respective stores" he added.
