Aryans launches “Scholarship Awareness Drive” in Bathinda for Malwa students
Christened as “Roshan” the drive to create awareness about Govt. sponsored schemes
Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges has launched “Scholarship Awareness Drive” today in Bathinda for the students of Malwa. Christened as “Roshan”, under this Drive the Aryans Team would visit the various cities of Malwa and would make the students aware about various Government Sponsored Scholarship Schemes like Post Matric Scholarship, Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) Scholarship etc.
Giving this information in a Press Conference in Bathinda, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that all the needy students of Bathinda and its nearby areas, who are financially weak, can apply for these schemes. Dr. Kataria while interacting with media said that Aryans team will cover each and every district of Malwa to enlighten the students about the benefits of each Scholarship Scheme. He added that many students especially of rural areas are not even aware about these schemes.
He further said that the “Roshan” Scholarship Awareness scheme is especially for those students who want to take admission in Professional courses like B.Tech 1st Year (Civil, Mechanical, CSE, EEE & ECE), B.Tech (LEET) , M.Tech (Civil, Mechanical), MBA,PGDM, BBA, BCA, B.Ed ,+1(Non-Medical) and GNM
Dr. Kataria said that the students coming under minority category in India like Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists, Jainism and Parsi can avail the benefit of Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) scholarship which is meant for the welfare and for financial assistance to brilliant students of minority class to obtain higher as well as professional qualification.
He further said that above Post Matric Scholarship Scheme's main objective is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.
It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. Aryans Group has been serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner. The group is running Management College, Engineering College, Education College, Nursing College and Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
